Hi mate, thanks for tuning in 🍺 Best i find with the 7000 when starting out is factory settings, a sound booster if running extra speakers, audio smoothing off and sensitivity from 10-14 depending on coil size and soil, if it's hot ground even just smoothing off. Hi mate, thanks for watching. The best detector is the one you can afford. But for a beginner and if you have the money, i recommend a minelab gpx6000 or gpz7000 and low budget a gold monster. All of them are very good at finding gold and I have found gold with all the detectors mentioned. Hope that helps all the best happy hunting 🍺

Hi 👋 i get the coil as close to the ground as possible to pinpoint the gold. Its so I don't dig a bigger hole than I need to. The mine lab detectors have cheap replaceable coil covers, so no damage is done 👍

@@DTGTDetectingTheGoldenTriangle Ha ha ha ha ..... If you swipe the coil half an inch off the ground , you miss the first layer of mineralisation so your detector can go deeper.... But keep doing it the way you do it so you leave plenty of good gold for others....

@jeanchardonnay5627 I don't believe you have ever used a professional $11,000 detector before? Depth of field and range depends on which soil timing is used. Air gaps also produce noise from level change, so you keep swining in the air with what you have got, but I'll use the gpz7000 how it's designed to be used 👍.

@jeanchardonnay5627 nice work mate , I suppose you can give anyone Tiger Woods golf clubs but they can't play like him 👍 the 7k how I use it has produced 2.7 kg in gold in 3 years on public land it's payed off my house cars everything and I'm retired at only 35 🍺

Hi mate thanks for watching 👍 I run the 7000 hard as I can handle everywhere I go. That means lots of setting changes all the time depending on the ground noise and emi throughout the day. I always start with factory settings with smoothing off and go up from there constantly checking through channels to see if there is less emi and better target response . That will keep changing throughout the day 👍

When I get more comfortable I might try some different settings So far it’s amazed me the depth it can punch over the 5, I was out kingower camping for new years Glad I didn’t stay the two nights I planned on with this Storm floating about
