What to Feed Camels - What Should Camels Eat?
Переглядів 2,6 тис.10 місяців тому
What to feed camels and what SHOULD a camel eat? Camel’s will eat many different things, even things that aren’t good for them, but that doesn’t warrant correct feeding. A big myth that people (particularly in Australia) have about camels that they will eat crappy hays and feeds and often stockfeed places will try to sell these to new camel owners, only for the owner to have sick camels either ...

Thanks for the information we invited in run of kutchh india our cemal herder camp
Every Christmas my church does the living nativity and they use live animals for the story. Sheep, donkey and a camel. Turns out the camel named curly was raised by his owner since birth. Also when Curly and his owner are out on stage. They do well in the story.
Awsome camel psykolog how interesting, you camels looks healthy and good
Thanks for watching!
Omg, i’d so love a couple of camels to casually roam the country with. My camels, a swag & some basic gear & we’re off. Heaven.
What a Dream lifestyle!
I like camels.
I'm not scared of camels. Because I AM a camel!
Camelophobia?
If someone is buying a camel for the first time, should they opt for a baby camel or an older, trained one? Are baby camels more likely to bond and form a strong attachment with their owner compared to older ones, and what is the ideal age for purchasing a camel? Additionally, is it better to choose a male or a female camel, and which is generally calmer and safer? If buying camels in pairs, what combination is most suitable: male and female, two females, or two males? Also, if I already have 10 donkeys, is it necessary to buy camels in pairs, and how well do camels interact with donkeys
Great topic idea for another video
Hello from Florida! Thank you for informative video. I'm currently looking for a camel or two to add to our farm.
i definitely want camels!
I rode on a camel . It was a much more comfortable ride than a horse . They seem to be very affectionate if you show love . They sure are big .
It's so surprisingly rare to find information on camels as pets today. Almost all info is from zoos or just "general animal information" that's worthless to a potential owner. I've wanted camels for ten years, and we're looking to buy a house with land in the next year or two, but I'm thinking about whether to get camels, or mammoth donkeys (I just plain don't "get" horses). And while of course you can just keep one large riding donkey, and smaller mini donkeys for company, there is no small camel replacement. There are llamas, which I want to keep anyway, but they aren't small camels. So then there's the question (I don't mean for you to answer this, but I'll check around with the camel breeders in my country) whether I really should aim for two, or if a few llamas can substitute, or even keep a camel with a mammoth donkey + llamas. I'm still just daydreaming and won't do anything that will diminish the animal's quality of life. :)
Who doesn't like to pet camels?
Great video very informative. Thank you so much !
WOW WOW WOWW! I had no idea and randomly wondered if I could have a pet camel, you came up top of search! I just saw u have "meditation with camels" video, my mouth hit the floor this sounds INCREDIBLE so excited to binge watch ur content !
Love camels I’ve loved them since I was a kid so many people used to think they were mean and spy creatures but honestly, they’re far nicer than horses. Honestly, if I had to choose, I would choose a camel over a mean horse.
I prefer Camels to Horses!
Most camels hate lemons That’s the extent of my knowledge, have a good day
I was going to say; doesn't salt destroy their teeth? Camels are capable of living for 35+ years; are there any dental hygienic services?
Why do they refer to camels as she? Do they wear jewelry because they're jealous?..check out my camel ankle bracelets
Would it be OK to feed a camel an apple or banana?
pretty sure that would be fine
I once fed a camel an apple and it ate it with great appetite but I did question it since apples grow nowhere near their climate
Is there a way I can get in touch with you, potentially to purchase female camels if any are up for sale.
I had a thought provoking question I asked myself if the creator of the video ever tried camel steak I hope they do and then they could let me know how they think it tastes.
I tried to purchase the ebook but unfortunately the link doesn’t work anymore
you keep saying you use the "SAME" techniques on every camel, but then you say all have different personalities....seems like conflicting messages. What is meant by "couching" a camel?
i had the starwars darth vader them going on in my head when seeing the camels.. most interesting
Is it okay to ride your camel? If so, how do you go about that, and where do you get training for riding a camel and their saddle?
I think I've changed my mind about buying a camel for my retirement.
When I retire I want a camel.
Beautiful video!!
Thank you!! Beautiful video and well needed guidance! I am actively working on my camel dreams!
Thanks again!
🐪❤

Quick question I want one what is the process to get one I live in Pennsylvania would the winters affect them negatively? And where do I go to buy one lol

Each on of these silly ones in your video is worth at least 20k usd in saudi
In case you should know, there are only six extant camel species under four genera: the Vicuna (Vicugna vicugna), the Alpaca (Vicugna pacos), the Guanaco (Lama guanicoe), the Llama (Lama glama), the Dromedary (Camelus dromedarius), and the Bactrian Camel (Oreocamelus bactrianus) Vicunas and alpacas constitute a separate genus from guanacos and llamas the bactrian camel along with extinct species like the knobloch's camel and siwalik camel all constitute a separate genus from the dromedary and other extinct species more fairly similar to the dromedary, this is very similar to african elephants being a separate genus from asiatic elephants, this is because of how superficially different they look from each other Morphological distinction is one major way to put a superficially different species in a separate genus There are many easy ways to tell apart the four extant camel genera, Camelinae is the only camel subfamily that still exists today and the Camelinae subfamily is further split into the tribes Lamini and Camelini, for the camel species in the tribe Lamini, the major difference setting apart the two extant camel genera that are part of the tribe Lamini is that those in the genus Vicugna have short snouts while those in the genus Lama have longer snouts, while for the camel species in the tribe Camelini, the major difference setting apart the two extant camel genera that are part of the tribe Camelini is that those in the genus Camelus have only a one-humped back while those in the genus Oreocamelus have a two-humped back Similarly, the most iconic differences between asiatic elephants (genus Elephas) and african elephants (genus Loxodonta) are that african elephants have very large pinnae and have two finger-like projections at the end of their trunk and that asiatic elephants have smaller pinnae and only a single finger-like projection at the end of its trunk.
I’d ride my camel thru town dressed like the Prince of Persia
