Built this little hut for them to get out of the rain. They loved to try to climb on top so I added blocks for them.

This is the review after installation. This mower performs extremely well after this installation. Almost like a beast mode. I have never used a v-deck so I cannot do a comparison against something like a SCAG, but this deck performs extremely well. I would recommend this to everyone who has a raptor SD. Update, after running for 4 years, this is the best upgrade. I did this on a second hustler...

Check the video, I take a video of the part numbers ua-cam.com/video/7yYjC5QF59o/v-deo.html If you google, you may find some old stock. All the new raptors, for the last 3 years, came with this as standard though. Hustler realized that lower brace was terrible for discharge.

Is there a part number for the 60 inch deck?
No, sorry, I don't have. Although, they seem pretty universal. I would bet that largest size would fit 60" Part Numbers: 42" 123347 or 190391 48" 123348 or 190390 54" 123349 or 190389 If you google part 190389, some say that slight modification and it works on 60". Best of luck. Also, another comment, I really prefer this upgrade over running the shoot up in the air. Running the shoot up in the air 1.) sprays grass up instead of back down into the ground, 2.) can clog your air filter or fan intake, 3.) causes more dust in the air (not healthy fofor operator when running for hours) 4.) visually, the way grass comes out shoot down always looks better

Tku for these 3 videos. I suspect that the extra hole that you commented on near the front of the deck facing out is for a chute adjustment bolt. If you place a large headed bolt into this hole with a nut both inside and outside the hole. You can then adjust the bolt head out or in to slightly raise the angle of the chute. You could then possibly do away with the bungy cord all together. You might try this and release a 4th video on it. good luck. b.rey
The hole is actually for the bagged chute attachment. It uses a bungee with a hook that attaches to the hole there and on the back angled section of the deck.

I did the same to my Hustler Raptor SD I have a video about it , I like it a lot, it’s mows much better .
Well I was thinking about trying to put a Fastrack deck under the raptor and I dislike that the fact the stock deck holder slipped out and hard to put the deck back to the transport hight

Does the floor plate tilt up so you can see the top of the deck and access the spindles?
Godzilla, my modification is to remove only the upper 5/8" of the enforcement bar leaving the lower 3/8" in tact to help maintain the block for a foot, post, tree, etc. Once the top of the enforcement bar is below the top of the horizontal part of the cutting blade, there will be no more clogs even in ultra high, wet grasses. Removing the triangle in front of the rear grass catcher square mounting hole is not a bad idea in dense, wet grass cutting either. I use a removable grass catcher scallop block off plate that also helps keep feet and other objects from entering the blade tip area in the event someone walks up behind me while I'm turning to the right without my knowing they are in the cutting area and I've got the discharge chute up. Since I built the block off plates, I don't find a reason to use the discharge chute any longer. I love the fact that the deck evacuates just as well as the fellas around me that have cut out their safety enforcement bar. After saying all that. Great video!
Does this modification affect the bagging system? It appears that this would render the bagging system useless. Because the shoot of the bagger fits into the original deck chute And fastens to the deck.
