TUTORIAL: Flower Power Birthday Card
Hi Friends! Here is a simple card using patterned paper, ink, stamps, and liquid paint dimensional embellishments to create a straightforward card. I like to prepare a lot of birthday cards for the year ahead using my stash paper and supplies, and these kinds of cards make it easy to prepare many cards quickly. The materials and tools are listed below.

A2 Card base in red (5 1/2" x 8 1/2" cardstock folded in half)
Kraft-colored patterned paper with colorful daisy print is from my stash trimmed to 4" x 5 1/4" - Unknown
Inkpad (brown ink) - I used Tsukineko VersaFine Clair Pigment Ink, Acorn

      Thanks I'm glad it's helping you! I think I used an 8mm lobster clasp for these but you may have to check what works best with your zipper or wherever you are attaching it to make sure your clasp will fit there.

    These are so cute! Could you use something like acetone to take the original can design off? I can imagine these hanging in a window with the sun reflecting off. Such a great project.

      I haven't tried acetone but it's worth experimenting. Most of the cans I have are beer cans that have stickers on them sometimes the stickers can be incorporated into the flower design in fun ways 😊

    I found this super interesting. I think it's ok to have a inconsistency with burn patterns amongst the beads. When they're all apart of the same jewelry piece the color/texture will be the uniting factor while each bead can have it's own character. I'd love to see these in a completed project!

      Yes, I think it's ok to look "handmade" after all if it was carved bone or something similar, the markings would be uneven because humans are not able to get perfectly even spacing. I have some ideas for how I want to use them, but I'm curious what you would do with them?
