Has this pain for 8 months now and it’s annoying
Great video. I had issues a few years ago and couldn’t fix it for nearly 2 years. As a professional musician it was absolutely horrendous. I occasionally get tiny flare ups and the information in this video is not only informative but also very helpful to treat the issue.
i have so many hobbies that use my fingers and they get tense really easily and this is the first time I've found exercises that make them just feel like so much looser thank you sm
With my first massage only, my complete hand was pain free ! Of course, I will have to repeat that 3 times a day forca few weeks. Thousand thanks from an old Swiss dude!

Big thanks! Just recently felt pain in the palm near my thumb (where the Thenar muscles are as you mentioned) from climbing! Will hopefully get back to it eventually after 2~3 weeks of wearing a splint! (not at my max climbing level ofc)

Once I was having a show in the winter. I put on a capsaicin cream on my right wrist to help me warm up. That was 2 hours before the show. Then we warmed up in the rehearsal room, but my right wrist and hands were cold as hell. We arrived to the place, but they didn't have great heating, no running hot water. I drank a hot tea, maybe it will help. But no. My right wrist and fingers were cold. We started playing the show with cold, stiff hands, I managed to go through it; the moment I left the stage my right wrist started burning from capsaicin cream . It was utter madness, the cream should have worked in 15 minutes. But apparently without blood flow it didn't do anything.

As a pro bass player and volley ball setter, I just do this 5 minutes before doing anything on the upright or electric bass, you don't need no more stooopid scales and patterns warm-ups after that, the muscle memory just work at 200%, no finger trembling because of stage fright, that's why I always bring a VB ball at rehearsals and venues, tours... plus, it can be fun with your colleagues ;-) ua-cam.com/video/WV_bWjWIaxM/v-deo.html

Did some DIY installing 9 door seals, each one with 5 self taping screws. The following week I had this Dequav@#$@... 😢 syndrome. Almost 3 months now, 2 splinters later its a little better now, but can flare up for no apparent reason and then its back to zero. But compared to the first days I'm confident it will be gone in 3 months.

Thank you very much, sir! This is greatly helpful for those who have DQT. Before trying it on my mom, I researched the anatomy of the hand. My goodness, it seemed like the area where it swells pinpointed where the APL and EPB are located. So, I tried the test on my mom to see if it hurts, and yes, she said it does. I also tried the stretches and exercises on my mom, and they helped decrease the pain. Thank you!
Sublime my fingers felt loose and ready I was able to play my chord changes more comfortable and fast with less stress on both my hand , wrist and finger. thank you for the video .
