In 2010 heeft Skydive Rotterdam de openingshandeling verricht voor de Dag van het Park in Capelle aan den IJssel. Met hun parachutesprong hebben zij de Capelsevlag en de vlag van de Dag van het Park afgeleverd in het Schollebos.

@Tom Pax, it's called an electric gyro. Probably for the turn co-ordinator, electric gyros start spooling as soon as electrical power is brought to the a/c

The sound's frikin awesome. Can somebody tell me what is that sound that is audible a little after he turns on the battery, but before engaging the starter? Something's spooling up already even before starting the engine??

it would be nice but you can't fly this with a PPL , you need an ATP license because it weight more than 12.500 Lbs .

Such an amazing video on an amazing plane, once I have my PPL I would love to own one of these, but even used they are on the expensive side.

Blue control is prop. We left it full fwd the whole time when I flew it, except for engine shut down.

Where were the range marks on the engine gauges? Or, did I just miss them (from the camera's angle). Love those "steam gauges"; nothing like a good old Autosyn Synchro style indicator! Nice video. Thanks, N-6395T

idk if anyone noticed, but although the plane looks great all together and I really want to own one, doesnt it strike anybody that the cockpit looks super uncomfortable? Maybe its just not meant for short people like me :(

as far i now first the electric starter then ignitor then fuel then starter off then igniter off of then generator on then standby power on then avionics power on then aux pump on . the aux pump is for when taking of or landing or manuevers. well , the caravan procedure is diferent then other turbo props i see.

hé starts the plane with the generator switch on , mm wierd.seem like the electric started has a long life to live , olso setting the aux fuel pump to on while the fuel leveler is on cut. seem like the pump is going to have a long life. and setting the fuel leveler on 100 percent on takeoff , wow that jet engine has to swalow it. but then after take off hé lowers the throttle and the prop pitch . i realy dont understand.

@TheProPilot100 usually its prop pitch which controls how much air the prop pushes so it also feathers them

@TheProPilot100 The blue lever on the throttle quadrant is used to control the pitch of the propeller. Reverse thrust is enabled by bringing back the throttle fully, past low idle position.

okay, bedankt, ik wist niet dat een defecte accu een dergelijk effect kon hebben. Ik vind deze modellen bmw's erg leuk.. kan me voorstellen dat ze met een korte achterbrug ook goed een panntje kunnen trekken..

@enfielddnepr oude defecte accu zorgde er voor dat de accu spanning van de "bypass" accu in elkaar stortte. Ik heb een nieuwe accu gekocht. Over de korte achterbrug...... Gevaarlijk insturen wordt naar mijn mening meer bepaald door de persoon die er boven op zit en niet zo zeer door een korte of lange achterbrug. Ik heb er nog nooit "last" van gehad. Ik kan er redelijk mee scheuren maar het is zeker geen buikschuiver!

... en als het met de startkabels-dan heb je in weze gewoon accusanning, niet lukte, dan waarom nu wel? Wel erg leuk ding!

Is het nou waar dat dit type door d ekorte achterbrug gevaarlijk instuurt?

@TheProPilot100 yes. the blue handle works the pitch of the propeller blades and can, if needed, feather the prop.
