Hard working young car people, Smart too! Please continue the build, maybe through inspection, registration, title. Please don't get burnt out. Be strong.
Thanks Jack! We appreciate the kind words of encouragement
Where did you buy that1932 chassis?
Swapmeet find at LA roadster show 👌🏽
Cool 😎 !
Thanks !
I am setting up a 29 2 door sedan right now. Thus is perfect timing for me. Great tips and Thank you for the pointers
That is awesome, glad you found it helpful! best of luck
How's that old flat head coming along that was stuck like Chuck 👍
its toast, all cylinders had major cracks however I still want to weld on it, then I have another flathead I want to tear apart and see if its any good!
@calirod cool deal. Keep-a-hammerin at it.
It looks ok
Thanks Stan
After waiting 3 months to get the set of white walls for Edna they sent an email yesterday that halted production and will be refunding all the pre-orders.
ohhh no! I can see them not getting enough orders to meet their minimums... less and less people looking for white walls these days
@@calirod they really cake the look on Edna
Man can't wait to see when you get the body and the rest of it.
same... brakes next, transmission... bolt that in... then body so we can chop the rear of the frame off!
That's sick.. so not to get personal but how is school going for you ?
Very cool. Good luck with this project. 👍
Thanks! I appreciate it.
$50
Thanks! Got this video and others planned
Looking good man.
Thanks! 🤘🏽
Thanks
Hey Aaron, got the comments you sent the and donation! Thanks man… I really appreciate your support and happy you enjoy the content 🤝🏽
One year more gone , Christmas just around the corner my man Magic Mike I'm really excited, about watching yours truly, good videos good narrative, entertaining is where it matters
All hail to Magic Mike he's coming into Site
Cast is easy to weld, like all disciplines learning how, lots of old wives tales ,it's accredited as being a Dirty Metal, that's a lie,it's just one of its inherent qualities, learning how to weld cast iron dead set easy,I learnt from trail and error, get the block welded if it's cracked around the exhaust ports, just fine a good welder,I hope it didn't Magic Mike,I'm on the starship enterprise coming into earths orbit
Well one year later,I'm Here looking at another old Henry bent eight,my favourite motor, goes to show we perhaps share something in common, well what have we done to it in that time span, good presentation and interesting narrative from the main man,Magic Mike,a hand to the man from uncle sam
Love the Indian head shellac
Same…
Nice choice of wheels. Nice to get to a rolling chassis. Killer drive train as well. Brian thanks for your help I got sorted out with my bolt problems. My chassis is in paint but I need tyres to make it a roller. Cheers and best wishes to you both.
Thanks for the update Tim! Glad to know you’re on your way! I appreciate the support … cheers
You should see the pulley situation we just went through
Ohhh no… sounds rough
@calirod it worked out but pretty cool how we fixed it
good job.
Thanks Richard !
Sorry if this is a duplicate comment. I have a rebuilt M22 for sale if you are interested. I'm local. My name is David Nunez. Thanks
Hey David, can you send me an email at bnunez@calirod.com with the info and you number? I’m interested 👍🏽
Sent you and email@@calirod
We just ordered a full set of tires for Edna. Bigger white walls
🙌🏽
coming along nicely
Thanks!
🦅🇺🇸💪🤠👍
Lol thanks Pete!
Nice wheel/tire combo for a traditional style Hot Rod 👍
Thank you, should go well with the early 60s vibe we are going for
Good job but if your hands aren't permanently dirty you're not a real mechanic
Doesnt look like shes a mechanic. That doesnt look like a customers car nor a repair. seems like a project theyre building to me. lol
Thanks for the comment, good news is no one is claiming to be a real mechanic… this is a hobby… not a job 👍🏽
Larul 🤝🏽
Came for the yoga pants stayed for Charlie
Lol… valid comment
Charlie Daniels band 👍👍👍👍
Her favorite song !
GREAT SONG!
I asked favorite song that comes to mind??? and she picked it!
Pretty sexy like to see it all done , which body you putting on it highboy or lowboy ?
Thanks Dan, plan is for a high boy Roadster
@@calirod that will be sweet it'll look good .
First of all that a chevy engine. Distributors in the back of the engine
Im confused… did someone call it a Ford engine ?
Doesn't matter what's in it, as long as it's on the road moving. I used to think that Ford in Ford's, etc when I was a lot younger. But now I am older and as long as it's moving, who cares what's in it.
@@jerryhenderson3820 bingo… driving them is what keeps this hobby / industry going 🤘🏽
Me thinking it was a joke dude selling bald tires 😂😂
Lol… I have never thought about that… that’s funny 😄
Hi, where did you get the banjo rear axle from with the modern driveshafts. Did you get it new/complete? Thanks.
Hey Carlos, yup it’s brand new and complete but you have to buy the brakes yourself. Check out “Winters V8 Rear End”
I legit thought you bought old tires in the first half.😂
Ha… that’s funny. I’m sure you’re not the only one 😁
@@calirod if anything it would look great on the rod, it would fit the appearance.
loving this build has all my dream parts I would like to use on my model a. May I ask what is the water pump your using with that cast in alternator bracket?? Havnt seen one like that before. Many thanks from new zealand
Hey Neil! Thanks for asking. It’s called a ZIPS water pump riser and uses a standard GM V6 water pump. Thanks for following along 👍🏽
Looking good guys.... Love the Wheels. Won't be long now..... 😎👍
Thanks Geoff, she’s super happy with them too 🙌🏽 I appreciate you following along
Great job 👍
Thanks Tom!
I like the chrome rims! Mounted all 4 and didn’t break a fingernail!
lol! Thanks 🤘🏽
When she went and said ''Muncie M22?'', a big YEAH! came out of me LOL You livin my dream guys, following
Ha! That’s awesome… we are! Thanks for following along
Looking good! Have you purchased the M22 already?
Not yet! Brakes first then transmission shortly after
Coming along nicely.
Thank you! Appreciate you following along.
It's happening!!!❤
Slowly but surely!!
They're not actually "building" a car, they are bolting a pre made kit together.
It seems that way now… until brake lines need to get made, full stainless steel exhaust needs to get TIG welded, cutting the rear frame rails to mount the tank inside, making a transmission hump etc etc … that’s what makes the difference 👍🏽
Flows just as good. Engine masters proved it.
I have to check that out… sounds like the the header isn’t much of a restrictor
Look great guys can't wait to see more
Thanks! More too come!
Nice! Was this a by invite only event?
Nope, I think it’s just pre 60 something … information is in the aces car club website… they host several events 🤘🏽
No this is becoming a very serious issue either straight rip-off parts or very low quality parts
I agree ☝️
Nice way to spend the day.... 😎👍
It’s was… couldn’t have been better weather 👌🏽
Cool
Thanks!
Magnetos are so cool how they create their own energy!.
But pricey!
That isn't a magneto. Those are Mallory dual point distributors.
@@calirodI'm pretty sure that coil and points are supposed to have no more than 9v going to it. GM didn't use ballast resistors. If that was in a vehicle it would have what they call a low tension wire, usually it's a yellow, or green wire. That wire has a lot of resistance, cutting the 12v battery voltage down to between 7v-9v. Otherwise it will burn out the coil and or points. That could be the reason for the smoke. I would get the instructions for that distributor & coil. Looks like it's a Mallory dual point distributor. Is it? I've used one in the past in a 70 Olsmobile Vista Cruiser Wagon & it's worked pretty good.
