because my commute to work is so short, the only thing i did was upgrade my outlet from the 15 amp to the 20 amp. it was super easy to do and only took like 5-10 mins to do. the outlet only cost like 5 bucks as well. this cheap and easy upgrade took the charging from 3-4 mph to 6-7 mph. that may not seem like a lot to most, but that is a huge difference for me! just for some perspective, in a 10 hour charging window, you go from adding 40 miles to 60 miles. i live in san antonio, so theres no to have any more than that.

With a tesla it’s always about power management and maintaining your vehicle well. You manage the power and battery of tesla well, you’ll never have to find yourself using a supercharger, all your charging is done at the comfort and safety of home and if it’s a slow charge from your home’s 120v outlet, it’s better for the batteries as the batteries degrade lesser and get stressed lesser with a slow charge, so let’s say your batteries last for 10-15 years tops, that’s just about the time you might think to trade in your tesla if you’re still able to make a living or if you still want the present make of your car, invest in new batteries (who knows, maybe in the next 10-15 years tesla can incorporate solar power and battery charging to teslas existing now and by then hopefully they cost less). And since there’s less moving parts since it’s an EV, you can practically do all the maintenance/tire repairs by yourself. I’m thinking of looking into the tesla power wall and solar panels for my home’s power supply, to see if in the long run I spend lesser in electricity/heating/ac costs, because the monopolistic power supplier in the state oftentimes don’t do a good job when power goes down during a heavy thunderstorm and we can lose power for 3 days

@@Realkalebgibbmine is after two weeks of picking up my model y, i set the maximum charge at 80% (the recommended threshold to care for the batteries so it lasts longer, and to give allowance for regenerative braking to add more charge without stressing the batteries, I’m probably going to set it at 70% max charge if I’m only doing local driving to and from work, store, etc.), only got to charge it at home once overnight , drove it, tested the live sentry cam features for a week, the charge right now is sitting at 67% and holding steady as I already turned off live sentry mode (tests were done so live sentry mode is not needed when at home parked in the garage. Never have gone yet to a supercharger and my thinking about that is, if I can avoid going to supercharger, the better it is as I want to make the battery life last longer.

Um... isn't the lane keeping part of the autopilot? From the manual: "Autopilot Features This topic describes how to enable and use the following driver assistance features. Note Depending on market region, vehicle configuration, options purchased, and software version, your vehicle may not be equipped with the following features, or a feature may not operate exactly as described. Traffic-Aware Cruise Control: Like traditional cruise control, Traffic-Aware Cruise Control maintains a set driving speed. However, Traffic-Aware Cruise Control also slows down or accelerates Model Y as needed to maintain the following distance from the vehicle in front of you. While Traffic-Aware Cruise Control is engaged, you are still responsible for steering Model Y (see Traffic-Aware Cruise Control). Autosteer: Like Traffic-Aware Cruise Control, Autosteer maintains a set speed (if there is not a vehicle in front of you) or a set following distance (if there is a vehicle in front of you). In addition, Autosteer detects lane markings, road edges, and the presence of vehicles and objects to intelligently keep Model Y in its driving lane (see Autosteer). Note Autosteer is a BETA feature. Auto Lane Change: When you engage a turn signal while Autosteer is active, Auto Lane Change moves Model Y into the adjacent lane in the direction indicated by the turn signal (see Auto Lane Change). Navigate on Autopilot: Navigate on Autopilot builds on the features of Traffic-Aware Cruise Control and Autosteer. While Autosteer is active, Navigate on Autopilot allows Model Y to suggest and, if configured, automatically change lanes to pass other vehicles and follow the navigation route (see Navigate on Autopilot). Note Navigate on Autopilot is a BETA feature. Traffic-Aware Cruise Control and Autosteer use information from the cameras on Model Y to detect lane markings, road edges, and other vehicles and road users around Model Y. CAUTION Ensure all cameras are clean and free of obstructions before each drive and before using Autopilot features (see Cleaning a Camera). Dirty cameras and sensors (if equipped), as well as environmental conditions such as rain and faded lane markings, can affect Autopilot performance. If a camera is obstructed or blinded, Model Y displays a message on the touchscreen and Autopilot features may not be available. For more information on specific alerts, see Troubleshooting Alerts. CAUTION It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with the limitations of Autopilot and the situations in which driver intervention may be needed. For more information, see Limitations and Warnings."

Also, i would advise agaisnt upping your gain your speakers, it could lead to quicker deterioration, like the old owner of mine did, where one of them is obviously broken compared to the others, unless you don’t mind. As taken from google: “Yes, adding too much bass to songs can damage speakers, especially at high volumes. Bass-heavy music or poorly engineered bass-boosted tracks can create high-amplitude sound waves that put too much stress on the speaker's components. This can cause thermal speaker failure, which is when sensitive interior components melt or burn due to excessive power. Bass boosted music can also create distortion at low volumes, and especially at high volumes, which can wear down speakers over time”

Thanks for reaching out this is the whole reason I put this out there! Honestly I was expecting it to be A LOT worse than it really was. Biggest piece of advice is make sure he gets up every hour or so (he won't want to) and walks around for 5 or so minutes. That and when PT starts do the exercises like none other! I have a new update coming this week! But I am doing TONS better! I'm back at the gym I've been cleared for the leg press and a few other machines as well as mostly brace free. You'd think where the shin gets screws would hurt but it's still the inside of my leg that is sore.

Hopefully you’re recovering well! It’s definitely been no fun! I stated physical therapy this week (after the 3 week mark but not quite 4 weeks) one of my exercises you’ll see in this weeks video is bending my knee to 90 degrees. I’m also able to walk without crutches with the brace locked.

I am entering 4th week After surgery and I would say I reach 90 degrees passive and active, but active în the end of the bending towards 90 degrees there is a lot of pressure on my Knee..😢i hope it will get better so that I will get range of motion back. For now I have the Impression it will never get better…but în fact realisticly I think 90 degrees After Not Even 4 weeks is not bad as hell…
