    Lol such a house would cost 800.000 to a million in the netherlands. Also a programming job here brings 50k a year, in the US 100k minimum. Makes me consider moving there

    For people wondering, this is typical housing for upper-middle class in America. Of course it depends where you live. I live in the Dallas suburbs and homes like these can be affordable even if you are just middle class.

    This seems more Eastern-US like, because the houses aren't quite as new. idk. Looking at Dallas, and most cities within the Middle/West of the USA, the houses tend to be more brick/stone, and not so tall. More spread out? idk

    How much is an average house like that?

    • @bighands69
      @bighands69 5 років тому

      Depends on where they are. Could be $200,000 or $2 million. For the vast majority I would say $200,000 to $400,000. But you could get a really nice house that is a little smaller for say $150,000 in many states. It is not uncommon in many states to find houses for $250,000 with a couple of acres of garden. Do a property search on zillow (biggest us online site I think).

    • @XrAiDeN
      @XrAiDeN 5 років тому

      @@bighands69 The average house costs 300,000 euro's in The Netherlands and that will give you a house about 1/4th - 1/6th the size of the ones shown in this video. They are made of brick though.

    What is the ideal city to live in in the US? I would prefer a warmer state, being close to the city and not too dependent on a car. Not all of my criteria need to be fulfilled, I just wanna get an idea. I am fed up with overpriced homes in Germany which a fifth of the size.

    • @nehemiahobongono8496
      @nehemiahobongono8496 6 років тому

      Omar Ali probably Cali or Oregon

    • @bighands69
      @bighands69 5 років тому

      +Omar Ali You have many many options in the US. On the east Coast there is Florida, Texas, Georgia, Carolina. Do property searches on Zillow and just research climate. You try and do a google search to see if there is a US state that can compare to your current location.

    i know everyone says how big they are but in my opinion, can be boring if you are in a town without nothing to do ,it is more like farm i think europ is more more fun.even when in europ people live in small houses and apartments. in Europe you take a plane and in 1 hour you are in a diferent country , you can experience different cultures .history ,food but if you are in the usa take a plane and in 8 h you are still in usa ,wooden houses ,big houses booooooring nothing to do too new , dificult to smell culture and history even living there i think people can be more superficial and materialistic.but thats just my opinion not offence

      trust me america is WAY more diverse and has different cultures for example the culture in Texas is not the same from New York and New York isn’t the same from LA or Hollywood . We have ALOT of MAJOR cities and different terrains we have deserts beaches , mountains , and forests LITERALLY everything is in the USA its so big and vast it varies from where you go ! just from my point of view people in the us don’t seem to care about europe and usually just shrug it off and or laugh about how small and dirty it is but i actually like europe its beautiful especially france and the uk 🇬🇧 love from the USA 🇺🇸❤️
