My feral cat/critter passion piqued Autumn 2021 when I befriended a pregnant all-black cat living in the woods. Onyx and I created a Nature Nook as I slowly removed tons of garbage/junk from the wooded area surrounded by barbed wire next to double-train tracks. We've marveled tons of squirrels, raccoons, feral/homeless/stray cats, birds, lizards, opossum, frogs, snakes, rats, roosting butterflies, etcetera - so I thought why not share some vids! Sunday morning, September 29, 2024 - warm and sticky... feels more like early July! Alas, the GingerTwins and Vee-Vee plus Cowboy were hanging out. Quite loud in the area for 7 AMish on a Sunday but nearby Dixie Highway is undergoing lots of construction for future project$. Curious little Vee....she's always using that beautiful mind of hers. Thank you for your time and attention, have a wonderful day wherever you are. Also, please remember to offer homeless animals at least some cool water now and then. South Florida will be enduring another heat advisory until sunset. Little creatures and critters need water, too!!
