Hej!
Beautiful 😍
Thank you! 😊
Very peaceful looking area and although you were unsuccessful getting accommodation it's great to see people out in this beautiful area
Yes, overall it was a good trip and since it ended one day early i managed to squeeze in another trip as well so it all ended for the best at the end.
I'm planning to repeat your track this summer.
Nice, it was a very good trip. Don't underestimate Töfsingdalen, it can be a quite rough place, but also so unique and special. Hope to hear from you after and how the trip was. Good luck!
Nice film, this might be a place for an early season 2-3 night hike. May I ask where you parked your car ?
Thanks, happy you enjoyed the video. For this trip we parked at Storfjäten at the end of some road, dont remember exactly.
It looks nice!
Thanks, it is a nice place
Did you go to the Norwegian side of Fulufjellet National Park?
No, haven't been there yet unfortunately.
So nice ❤
Thanks 🤗
Fantastic scenery and so peaceful
Fulufjället is very beautiful and i keep on returning to the national park.
Cool Adventure, cool footage. 👍. I only have been XC-skiing in the valleys of Dalarna.
Also mostly been in the forrest but it's sure nice to come out on the mountain. It's quite easy in Fulufjället with lots of trails and cabins so it is really a great start for shorter adventures.
@@ScandinavianWilderness yes, but the winds have been to cold and strong for the mountains in January/February.
Onde é isto?
Sweden
We enjoy your wonderful videos. They help to bridge the time untill we're back in lovely Sweden
So happy to hear that and thanks for taking your time to comment! Hope you get the chance to visit Sweden soon.
So nice to find this video about Tofsingdalen. Last year I was hiking there with my daughter, and it is something I will remember forever. Hopefully she will too :)
Happy you liked the video and thanks for sharing. Töfsingdalen is a very special place and memories seems to stick once you have visited.
@@ScandinavianWilderness I did enjoy it a lot. A really good perspective on the forest and the debate about cutting down the forest for plantations. Watching another video now about Grovelsjon :) (probably one of my favorite places on earth) .
It was from that trip i first encountered Töfsingdalen. And i didn't realised it at the time but as the months passed after that trip i found my self thinking about Töfsingdalen and felt that i needed to go back.
Nice. Gyllbergen is my home turf. Best explored off tracks.
Thanks for your comment. Must be nice to have a place like Gyllbergen as home turf. Next time i visit i'll have to get a bit off the beaten tracks.
👍 what a very good filmed adventure in the winter of Dalarna. Only to improve is fresh snow and temperatures below sero😉
Thanks, happy you enjoyed it. Next trip to Gyllbergen will be planed so it is under perfect conditions. :)
Looks like a fantastic system of huts in Sweden. Another great video, thanks
Yes, this place was new to me but it was really good. So many options and in a really beautiful place.
Happy, that I found your channel. Lovely videos. Good ideas for our next trip
Thanks a lot for sharing. Very happy to hear that you enjoy the videos.
another wonderful film. I'm sitting watching it in a very wet and miserable Glasgow wishing I was there. Thank you for cheering me up
Thanks a lot for the comment and happy you enjoyed it! I was lucky with the weather on the trip but at the moment the rain is pouring down here too.
We lived in Haninge, on the border of Tyresta NP for 3 years. I often went trail running in the park, in the winter you could walk on the lakes. It might be not so very special for Swedes, but for a Dutch guy like me, it was unbelievable beautiful and I will never forget it.
Thanks a lot for sharing this, it is very interesting to get an outside perspective on this nature type that is so common for us that live here. It really makes you appreciate it more.
Very inspiring! I must do this sometime soon.
Happy you enjoyed it and hope you get the chance to visit the national park.
beautiful national park. Comes on my list to visited this year. Thank you for showing.
It's a nice place. I have another video from the park but at a different lake, Årsjön. That is in my opinion the best place, but i share that opinion with many others, and it can be quite busy there. Hope you get the chance to visit!
Hello to you!
Fin film och en väldigt vacker plats! Får man fråga vart det är någonstans?
Kul att det uppskattas. Det är fiskat i Unnån i Orsa.
Mycket intressant film. Tack!
Kul att det uppskattas!
Nice tried to compare. I personnally prefer the traditional fly fishing method instead of Tenkara. Do not like the long line while playing the fish. And there are very good travel flyrods with 6 pieces, easy for backpacking. Max Catch has one, not expensive at all.
I have limited experience with fly fishing but i like to keep things simple so i thought that Tenkara would be a perfect fit for me. But i am not sure anymore. I do feel limited with the range when using the Tenkara but guessing that its not as big of an issue when using traditional fly fishing. I can see Tenkara being a good fishing method when you have lots of open space and can walk along side of the river. Like a small mountain stream, when reach is not as important. Have to try one of those travel flyrods you are refering too, looks like it has good potential. Thanks
Have you tried long rod with short line?
No i haven't tried anything other than the setup i currently have. But i do feel that my line is too long and i would have better control if it was slightly shorter.
@ScandinavianWilderness I have a 540 that is a two handed rod. 15ft is a lot to control with one hand.
Just had a check and my rod is 388 cm (12.9ft). But it does makes sense to rather have a longer rod with shorter line compared to the other way around.
what are some of the best towns to stay in on the west coast to snorkel? thanks - we are planning our trip to Sweden
Hi. I don't have too much experience from the west coast but i would say anything north of Gothenburg works well. The video is from the islands Tjörn and Flatö and the snorkeling was not planned, i just jumped in the water when i had the chance and had a look around. So from my limited experience i get the feeling that the snorkeling is good pretty much anywhere on the west coast.
Very nice. I was in nearby Fulufjället / Ljördalen for packrafting and late season ski touring at the exact same moment. Those were indeed lovely days with glorious sunshine and pleasant temperatures.
Happy you enjoyed the video and thanks for your comment. I checked out your channel and you seemed to be very busy with the packraft! I still haven't tried but that needs to change soon since i really like the idea of it. I have been canoeing Gördalen but there are so many other smaller streams where i guess the packraft would be more suitable over the canoe.
@@ScandinavianWilderness Packrafts indeed offer a wealth of possibilities for new adventures, whether it is relaxed flat water paddling, whitewater paddling or combined hiking / paddling tours. Definitely recommend to give it a try.
Very nice video and place! As you mentioned, I always end up at Grövelsjön or Femundsmarka when I'm in the area. Next time I'll definately try Vedungsfjällen!
Thanks, happy you enjoyed the video. Vedungsfjället is not a bad place if you are after a shorter trip since it's not so big. Also, if you are traveling from the south then it is pretty much the closest mountain area. But for longer trips then i think grövelsjön and Femundsmarka still would be a better choice.

Ok, thanks
Nice video 👍.
Thank you, happy you enjoyed the video!
Thank you very much! We too enjoy being in this area a lot. Wundervoll place to be!
Thanks for your comment. Vedungsfjällen and the whole greater area around has so much to offer. Fanstastiskt place!
Really wounderfull nature
Thanks, it's a really beautiful place.
Thanks for the Video. Dalarna has so many beautiful different landscapes. ❤
Thanks for your comment. Dalarna is really beautiful and so much to explore.
nice surroundings! You have not been fishing a lot, this year?
Thanks. No, it hasn't been too much fishing unfortunately. I haven't even reflected how few times it has been this year until you asked. I will try to make better next year. But the next video will be a fishing video, i just haven't edited it yet. Unfortunately, i can tell you already, it didn't go too well.
ok I will look forward! @@ScandinavianWilderness
