love the set up. it looks so neat. makes me wanna start. i've been playing around with submerging moss i find in a forest. it seems to enjoy being submerged
You can try regular potting soil, and i'd reccomend removeing the plastic clear pots
My child likes planerians
thats one worm ive never seen in my tanks... as far as i know! ive seen detritus worms in almost all my tanks even my moms tanks but no planaria! hope to keep it like that too, ive had bladder snail infestations and recently ramshorns but no planaria!!
I liked and subscribed can’t wait to see an update on this. I’ve seen it here and there on the Internet and wanted to get it but it’s so expensive and I’m too nervous to pull the trigger on this one. Buce is one of my favorite plants can’t wait to see the update
Can you please try Buce again? Would love to be able to farm them and sell them
Do these lights get hot enough to where it'd be a problem having them directly sitting on an enclosure? Want to use them for my frog enclosures as well as my fish tank.
@@rwvisuals it gets warm but not hot. But I won’t use it for your fish tank as it is not bright enough. You’ll want a proper aquarium light for that.
@GavinKohAquascaping fair enough.
Crazy.... they slurm around in H2O.... but squirm around and die in H2O2.
It's so satisfying
Thank you, it was equally as satisfying to make the video!
Nice video! I’m currently in the process of building a grow out system. I’m using a similar method to yours but less trays and homemade shelf.
Nice! What are you thinking of growing?
@ I’m gonna start off with bacopa and Ludwigias. Im gonna experiment with some crops as well
If i were to guess the red ones have recently eaten and are still digesting, i base this on how the intestine of the planaria is layed out
I’ve never had planaria, but i (might) keep some as a pet. (because they’re weirdly cool and i like that.)
twice is not enough
Need some assassin snails, they might eat a few shrimps though.
Dear Sir 👋, needed to hold my breath, when this Bucephalandra got packed out. 🥹 😢 😭 Now i am happy to see it recovers so nice! 🤩 Hope you realy have a lot off happyness while looking at it in the Tank. 💐 Greetings from Germany 🐸
@@Miniteich_Kröte thanks for your nice comment!!
Interesting
Hey! Your videos are so inspiring! I think a few small editing touches could make them shine even brighter. I'd love to assist if you're interested. Can we schedule a brief call tomorrow to discuss?
I gave up and used the "No Planaria" ... it killed my black worm culture, neocaridina shrimps, and most of my scuds ... but it killed the thousands of planaria that infested my tank. My fish & plants didn't seem bothered at all though.
fascinating
This is as good as a National Geographic documentary, no offence but it just needs the voice of Sir David Attenborough
Panacur C eradication works too
I hope that you occasionally just put the trap in every week or month or so to make sure they stay gone.
Planaria takes the color from your shrimp if they eaten your shrimp.
If you are really serious use potassium permanganate not hydrogen peroxide. It will oxidize organic matter.
@@jjxtwo1 that’s really good to know thanks!
Does the gorilla glue does'nt harm your tank?
Now you can make a planaria-tarium
Their leaves should be emerged so they can absorb more CO2, leading to a better the growth rate.
Your tank is infested and I’m invested!
Your tank is infested and I’m invested!
I saw a vid of a shrimp breeder who said they posed no danger to baby skrimps. He just changed the water twice monthly and let goldfish eat all the planaria up. Have you seen them eating a live shrimp before???
Why dont u gravel vac ? Im just asking i know its hard when u have a planted tank but this gonna kill ur tank slowly ..
How so?
@tengkualiff All the shrimps will get eaten then when they dont find a food they will eat the fish ..
Perfect little trap
How does planeria get conceived in a shrimp tank? Out of nowhere?
I'm glad I never had these in any of the tanks!
Good information thank you IELTS have aquarium❤🎉
That's amazing. Nasty at the same time. Nice Fix.
I know they are pests, but the planaria have an oddly endearing, derby face. Kind of adorable, despite the problems they cause.
Hey fellow Canuck! I just picked up 4 of the same cultures (and 4 Kedagang) and I was absolutely baffled with how the needle leaf grows! Mine are in full spheres, with what I’d call a rudimentary rhizome, so confusing! This purchase was my first introduction to buce and had expected something more like anubias. I think these are my new favourite aquatic epiphyte!
Hey Brother, I enjoyed your latest video-it’s so well done! I think a few small changes in your tags and description could help it rank higher and get discovered by more viewers. If you’re open to it, I’d love to share some simple, actionable suggestions. Let me know! Cheers, Shahin
Sometimes I think while I look at the wild life of our dear planet Earth, fuck tons of insects, masses amount of small life forms including parasite, bacteria/virus literally in the very air we breath, deadly animals including Us. If I were an alien, no surprise I would stay away from earth. If animals like wolfs/bears or humans doesn't kill you, the bacteria/virus in the air will and if you are lucky as an alien....Parasite would also want to say hi to you. P.S Looking at your trap, I would hand that to an alien and say "have fun with that".
Cool
some copepods also turn into the color of the food they eat! I have a bunch that are leaf green (green snello -> green snail poop -> green pod) and they look like tiny clam shrimps under the microscope.
Oh, that's very good to know. Thanks!
Is still variegated ?
Yes it is, albeit not growing very fast anymore.
I had this problem but when use the doctor tank anti planaria they time has come to an end
Raise planaria instead. problem solved😊 And how this thing trap planaria.?
You know.... as Humans . we don't have to deal with this shit, can you imagine coming home to your rock and geting one of those attached to you.
@@stevesteve8098 haha yes indeed! Unless you live by a swamp and have to walk bare foot back to your home and find leeches attached to you 😅
Hey dude,, Thank You for actually showing them!
Fish or shrimps don't eat them ?
No trap for me anymore ! It takes to long to rid off them! I did put oxfendazol( worm stuff for dog) 1ml for 100l! For few days! All gone! Shrimps and snails were fine!
One more thing: the planaria you see Ilona the surface is 1/1.000 of what you really have in the fish tank. So if you decide to use planaria killer, make sure first you use the traps for a couple of weeks first and get as many as you can out of your tank. If you use planaria killer right away, all the dead planarias under the soil will release poison and rot and contaminate the aquarium for months
