Переглядів 3,7 тис.8 років тому
Hi, Everyone I hope you like this video, I love Rock 'N Roll music and The Beatles is one of my favorite rock bands that I like (and believe me it's very long list of rock bands). I have a few interesting The Beatles items like some cds, records and concert t-shirts that I've been collecting over the years. I found this incredible album a few days ago (What a coincidence! it's almost Halloween)...

Jimi Hendrix And Mitch Mitchell Rare Acoustic Jam
any body out there know where's Hendrix from ?
3:15 😳😳👌🏿
I figured out how to play it on my 12 string
I love Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, David Gilmour, etc. But Tommy is THE MOST UNDERRATED Guitarist ever. His spirit and soul are unmatched
At like 14 minutes he plays probably one of the most spur of the moment and beautiful things I’ve ever heard from him. And I’ve listened to literally everything in circulation obsessively for like 20 years. But that part and Scorpio woman and some other things are just examples of how wildly and weirdly talented he was. Just beautiful
Как много фото❗️и это здорово 👍 Music🌟🎸🎼👍
Saw the band in 1968 Philadelphia
So this is Black Gold?
The Crown of Creation!!
What a real Treasure this is - Hendrix solo on just an Acoustic Guitar (tuned way down to Db open 6th String). Almost sounds like a 12 string (lower strings) & quite possibly an unwound 3rd to accomodate Jimi's wide, bluesy bends within his wild tasty licks. Pure flow of spontaneous Genius here - a true innovative on the spot Composer - with Mitch supporting him with whatever was handy to beat on it seems. Sounds like it was recorded on one of those early small portable reel-to-reel tape recorders (with terrible Wow & Flutter) with some tape echo delay added later ? Thank You so much for posting this very historical moment in music history.
At the very beginning, Jimi says something about being able to add echo...Hendrix favored a Sony, reel-to-reel setup, and I think this equipment was used here. The frustrating thing is...there HAS to be more of Jimi's tape efforts, somewhere in the clutches of various collectors, etc. And by now, I would guess the tapes themselves would be degraded. So sad, as I would love to hear every note that my personal favorite, Jimi Hendrix, committed to tape. He was not with us for very long!
14:14, now that’s a masterpiece
This is what happens when you leave home take to the hyway and live, eat, drink, shit,,shower,GUITAR DAY AND NIGHT IT BECOMES YOUR LIFE YOU BECOME THE GUITAR
Oh my god. I’ve heard every Hendrix deep cut and this somehow escaped me! This is what I imagine hanging with the guys backstage would be like.
Love the little snort loo
Well...Jimi was known to "snort" certain substances, from time to time!
Found it.....and will never let go! Never,i promise
Can't go wrong with a name like Duncan and Brady. Definitely has potential
He loved the blues but also classical guitar
Constantly experimenting and trying new things. Hendrix was and is the greatest innovator of the guitar. The Einstein of guitar.
correct me if im wrong but these recordings are part of the faye tapes?
Where did this come from?!
Great comment section... Wow...I'm on the verge of listening to this entire track...wow...I did it!💥🤸💥🤸♀️💥🤸♂️💥
The sheer exploratory nature of his riffing, inspires me every time I listen to this!...As Al Kooper said..."Listening to Jimi is like sampling a bit of fine, rare wine...you savor it, and only indulge once in awhile."
I seen some more pics of JIMI , MITCH ,NOEL 😊😊 that I haven't seen be 4 thanks they are cool 😎 😊 and neat thank U 😊😊 OMG 2 26 2O24

This was my favorite 45 record from 8-11 (1972-1975). That would explain what a messed up little kid I was. LOL To be fair, it belonged to my two teenage sisters.
When was this recorded?
Early Feb, 1970.
JiMi was A Baad MuT*@F--K@!.. DAMn!!...sMh especially that riff JiMi's playing starting at 8:14
11:26
Jimi was a fan of Orpheus. He liked the guitar playing of the lead singer, Bruce Arnold. ua-cam.com/users/orpheusband
oooh yeah!!!!
Some people say that JIMI used to have a Martin D−45 & an Epiphone FT−79. I wonder which acoustic guitar JIMI used for this session.
What format is the recording done through?
Hendrix owned an upscale Sony reel-to-reel portable tape deck..I believe that this tape recording has been expertly upgraded, it sounds quite good!
Oh Yeah !!!! I Swear I Keep Trying to Explain to People (Not Taking Anything from What Most of Us Know and Have Heard) But These Type of Settings Where Jimi's Just Being Free and Working on and Sharing Ideas is Where I Hear a Genius in His Mind and Guitar Playing That for Some Reason Gets Clouded or Lost in The Studio Recordings or Live That All of Us True Hendrix Fans Know... It's Just Absolutely Mind Blowing.... God... What He/We Were Robbed of and What Would Have Came From Jimi in His Future Musical Journey... For Example.. Chick Corea is On Record Stating His Idea for Return to Forever was a Musical Vehicle for Jimi I Mean What was That Going to Sound Like...Jezze 😢😢💔💔💔💔 Just for Example..... So... Thank You Evaaa SoSo Very Very Much for Uploading and Sharing This True Jem ☺☺😎👊💯💯💖
This is great
Pai pleto, palavra feia em vc não pode!, outra legenda para esse som, te amo!
ah' "Beginnings" aka "she went to bed with my guitar,"
most of us reading this right now ive been on this earth for 20-50 years and still have no idea where or who we are... making very little impact on the world. Jimi was only really in the limelight for about 4 years... and his legacy to this day is continueing to grow... just imagine what he would have done with 8 or 10 years. or if God wills it a life time...
You have a wonderful, evocative way of speaking Truth, when it comes to the ethereal aspect of Jimi's overall creative impact on music.
Highest level &music..real jam
There's an interview on UA-cam where Jimi Hendrix says Terry Kath is the best guitarist in the world, and how everyone has to see CTA (Chicago Transit Authority --> Chicago) live
Yeah... They Opened for The Experience on a Date..He Loved Terry's Playing.
That really put them on the map, as well as Janis Joplin, and the mentions in interviews. I uploaded a lot of Terry Kath Chicago on my channel if you like interviews/concerts @@jfmax2000
Eraser definitely
Wowww??? Very nice💃🕺 feeling like to dance.❤❤❤👏👏👏
COOL ! 😎
8:13 don’t mind me
So grateful for this.
We are not yet ready to understand the genius of this gentleman
I am glad to hear such a powerful observation of Jimi's overwhelming talent!...I am a Boomer now...and I was blessed to witness Jimi in concert, twice. Somehow, in a very deep, meaningful way, his playing has influenced my awareness of appreciating talent of such a high, rare type.
wait omg we have this same one, do you know anything about it? everyone thinks it's erased
I saw his outfit that he wore on Electric Ladyland at the RRHOF. It seriously looked like it would be tight on a 13 year old. I couldn't believe it. I see these pictures of Mitch Mitchell and he's a half a foot shorter than Jimi. What was he 5 foot?
It is just camera angles...Hendrix was somewhere between 5-10 and 5-11......Mitchell was around 5-6, Redding 5-7.
@@curbozerboomer1773No way in hell was Hendrix almost 6 foot. Definitely closer to 5 foot than 6 foot. Like I said his outfit is on display at the rock hall of fame and it’s tiny. REALLY tiny.
@@bryanmclellan8546 Sorry...but Hendrix, at age 18, was measured by the Army as being 5'10"....The autopsy doctor measured him at roughly 5' 11"...Those are the facts. Maybe, over the decades, his clothing has shrunk a little...And he weighed only 137lbs when he died...he was a skinny dude!
Really , Hendrix was beyond category
When I saw him in concert, it seemed as if he had one foot in "our" world, but the other in a higher dimension, where Creativity itself resided. Well....in that remarkable poem that he wrote on the back of his guitar, he despondently mentioned that he was deeply frustrated , at not being able to make physical LOVE to the spirit of MUSIC itself! That is a remarkable thing to say!
I remember my friend, Scott, getting a record by Zephyr in 1981, when Sail On played, it blew me away!! This lady COULD SING!!! ❤☮❤
i never knew this existed...fantastic
Beautiful song written by Bonnie Dobson. So many great covers.
