Famously, this man stressed the importance of training in a school setting with various people of varying ability - he didn't do "private students" and for good reason. I get that WSL is a big name and association with him equals a level of clout but no need to milk it.

I remember being told of Wong Shun Leung's passing in 1997 by my Sifu Nino Bernardo. I was lucky enough to train with Sigung a few times in London seminars before we lost him. Nino said he was a "real character".

Were are any of the fighters that he supposedly trained,seemed like they all disappeared when he died.

This big pot belly was a grandmaster of what,you ignorant brain washed peoples of the wing chun non fighting community need to stop with all the over glorification of these peoples that have never had a real fight in their lives,my goodness most of these people earn their titles on chi sau alone.There are more over glorified masters,grandmasters,supreme grandmasters,than their are any darn fighters in the wing chun system.

shifting doesn't seem to be a trained skill in all WSL's training. Plus, over emphasis on "pressing fwd" and obsession with hands guarantee losing a testicle or 2 in a real fight.
