I made a beer out of Fruity Pebbles.
Well this was fun. Turns out fruity pebbles are actually pretty expressive when used in a mash at 10% of the grain bill. Sheesh!

Ale vs Lager - Brewing both & Comparing them
Переглядів 14 тис.3 роки тому
All beer falls into 2 main categories, Ale or Lager. Though historically, it is the younger of the 2, the Lager category dominates the beer market. When most casual beer drinkers think of "tastes like beer" they are imagining a lager. The trouble for brewers both casual and commercial is that Lagers are typically more intensive, slower and even more difficult to brew successfully. I brewed 2 ba...
10 Day Blackberry Barleywine! - 10 Day Brews Ep. 4
Переглядів 1,5 тис.3 роки тому
Barleywine is a popular style but divisive style, people usually either love it or hate it. I have never brewed a barleywine, but have always been under the impression that it takes months or even years to end up with one that tastes like it should. Then came Kveik yeast(not that it hasn't been around for thousands of years). With my favorite dry Voss Kveik strain, I was able to turn around a d...

While this beer is not perfect, and there can be improvements made, this is a fantastic proof of concept for future lager brewing. I am excited to try the next one and see how we can build on this foundation. Those things in mind it's a delicious beer! It's very light and crisp, no offensive flavors or off-flavors jump out at you, and other than the clarity it's really a good LAGER beer. View t...
Ocean Water Blue Sour IPA - Homebrew Recipe Showcase

This beer was fun to mess around with, and I very much look forward to doing more like this in the future. While not practical, and a little silly, the kinds of beers that make people question everything are always enjoyable to make, as well as to taste. Hello, you carbonated it for one day with 45psi, then what did you drop it to to serve? Did you leave it at that pressure until the keg was gone? I have a seltzer carbonating now and have just regular soda water but can't seem to get the carbonation right as it seems well carbonated but the carbonation doesn't last that long once poured. I have it set to 20 psi. I had my first batch at 35 but same results. Thanks a d great video.

This is not the first time I’ve watched this. I love it more each time. I’ve wanted to make a pebbles brew since I received my ‘beer& wine condenser,’ for Christmas. It’s like my favorite cereal since childhood! I’ve begun wine and mead making as well, and am learning to enjoy beer now too. I picked up 3 96 oz bags this morning of the breakfast of Forever Children at heart. Definitely doing a mess, and thinking a small batch beer. Maybe even imperial pebbles milk stout! On the mead, definitely dry hopping with more pebbles, lemon grass, and citrus zest in secondary on Kveik Voss. These 95-100 degree MO summer days should be perfect for it! Thanks for the great content and starting point!!

New sub here! Love your stuff! Especially a good lookin’ dude with barleywine smeared all over his titties! 😂😂 that was great! Found you on the Fruity Pebbles video. Then this fabulous fruited barleywine. I’ve been toying with the idea of barleywine but I prefer more fruit and sours than heavy hops. I’m glad you showed the possibilities! I’ve been trying to plan a banana breadish barleywine, maybe a pumpkin pie, tart Cherry, and something to blend the malty bready flavor with something tropical. I like sipping my desserts rather than eating them! 🤷‍♀️

Fruity Pebbles is my lifelong cereal addiction. My parents would bring me like a case a year in college as a joke when they’d come visit. I lived on it bc it was just so fast and easy. Still my fave. As someone who does alcohol condensation, I’ve been trying to plan a condensed beer version of them. I was putting a Fruity Pebbles Hydromel recipe together in the mean time and found your video for the beer. Great go, Man! Definitely will be subscribing and checking out your other content! Thanks!!
