awesomest kid on earth
We are back to videos every Saturday ya'll and the lil skater just became...self improvement motivation skater lol. So today I visit an arcade and yap about childhood popsicles and my childhood goal to be the awesomest kid on earth. Looking back, the underlying concept was I just wanted to be a well rounded person and now that is what I am going to do. If you ask me how to be the main character, this is it. Continue to improve yourself by learning new things (like skating hehe), visiting new places, gaining new accomplishments, meeting new friends, and gathering memories to become your awesomest self!

Since I was a kid I thought skateboarding was cool. But it took me a while to finally pursue the skate life. And now that I have, I've learned that skateboarding helps me feel free and helps me in my everyday life, through all my problems. I used to think 'oh man, I should've started learning back then cuz then I would have so many skate tricks by now.' But who knows what could've happened back...

This was a SUPER fun lil skate adventure! I was so happy and surprised to find such amazing spots for street skating. I was especially hyped to find the two stair I had wanted to skate originally. true talk. comparing yourself with other people is the most unproductive thing to do. i see it in any park, there are skaters and there are this type of skater who is judging anyone calling people posers because they think other people are doing the same to them. its actually the opposite we all are super hyped when someone just commits to a trick on their level no matter what level.
Glad you agree! And yeah everyone I’ve met has been hyped on watching others skate so the key is to just get off the internet and interact with the real skaters!

My mental trick for nose stalls is to think of it as LIFTING the back foot, not thinking of it as pressing the nose down. Try that and tell me if it works for you. Focus on literally trying to lift your back foot off the board, then pressing it back down to re-enter. All mental, but very effective in my experience. I’m curious if this will work for you.
Thanks alot for the tip! Next time I skate transition I will try to think of it that way. Sometimes the mental things help a trick work! Tryna get them nose stalls more consistent next sesh fs!

I bought a pair of DVS comanche and the tip of the shoes is extremely thin so it hurts my toes :( Im male btw 42.5 EUR they are cute but super uncomfortable for me

I know its hard to have friends in person but I think ur channell is a great place for community especially among girl/muslim/hijabi skaters. Alot of people do youtube collabs overseas and it wont replace the experience of real life friends but it could still be cool!
Yeah! For sure! I am hoping my channel can reach Muslim/Hijabi/girl skaters as well as many others so that skaters and non skaters who don’t have friends don’t feel alone. I hope to do some collabs in the future through the internet or Irl. It’s not the same as friends but it would definitely help and give me the feeling of having purpose!
