Thermomix in an office with no kitchen equipment - Butternut Squash Soup and coconut soup
See how you can use Thermomix to make your meal even without a kitchen. Here I make a butternut squash and coconut soup in a kitchen with just a kettle! (You don't need a kettle either!)
This is one of my favourite soups and it's also gluten & dairy free.
I add extra ginger to get a bit more of a kick and I leave out the cayenne pepper.

    • @mythermomixadventures

      @@gbasai19 Really? As much as that would be lovely, I can’t think of any companies who give lifetime warranties. The price is currently £1279 not £1400 and you get 5 years warranty for free if paying in full by card. Plus my thermomix from 2004 is still going strong and has never had an issue - I don’t have any other products that I can say the same for.

      There was once a metal varoma many years ago (my TM31 had one) but it got too hot. Here's what they say on the Thermomix spec about the type of plastic. Do you have any suggestions on what could be used instead? I can pass on any suggestions but I can't think of another material myself that would work - wood would degrade, metal is too hot for a handle or aroma, it might work for the simmering basket... All materials that come into contact with food are carefully selected and comply with current legal regulations. Chemical-analytical tests are regularly carried out by independent institutes, and changes in legal regulations and new developments in material science are closely monitored so that we can react directly to new scientific findings, and optimise the performance of the Thermomix by modifying the materials if necessary. None of the materials in the Thermomix® TM5 and TM6 that come into contact with food contain plasticizers, bisphenol A (BPA) or bisphenol S (BPS).

      Some countries have distributors so you can buy a TM6 but it’s more like a shop/place to buy it and they aren’t run by Vorwerk International. Vorwerk Hellas have taken it over, so they will set up the same system as elsewhere, with advisors doing demonstrations and cooking classes and demos. But what was different than when you baked the bread loaf before? Did the recipe not tell you to put the tin for the same amount of time at the same temperature? What was different about having the sensor in?

    • @mythermomixadventures
      @mythermomixadventures Рік тому

      I’ve found that the time on the Cookidoo recipes is close to what the sensor has told me but the extra few minutes I’ve left it in the oven with the sensor has meant a better rise and no need to open the oven to do a skewer test. I’ve found the biggest difference with ovens that aren’t in my home (I know mine is pretty accurate temp wise). Often my customers’ ovens and ovens at venues can be quite different to my home oven and that’s when the sensor has been really useful. In fact the turkey at Christmas cooked 30 mins longer than the instructions with the turkey (not Cookidoo) and was perfect, it would have been under-cooked based on the M&S printed instructions with the turkey.

    Don’t buy one of these. They are incredibly expensive pieces of junk. My wife bought one because she thought it would make her into a cook. Apart from a few serves of mushroom risotto it did little else then broke down unexpectedly. My wife passed away still being unable to cook anything except mushroom risotto (God bless her) 😢 and I sold it to an electronics tinkler who bought it for $200. Broken and useless within 6 years. I reckon those plates of risotto (which can be easily cooked in a $20 frypan) cost is about $100 a plate. Bloody German rubbish. Ask yourself this: if Germans are such good engineers how come they lost two world wars 😅😅😅?
