nice tutorial have you considered to add more customizability to your skills? So instead of having to have an activator for every ability that there is a universal activator

if ur having an issue with disabling player collision try adding to the if statement: or part.ClassName == "MeshPart"

is there any reason why the animation could not be playing? It works on a standard rig but not on my character and doesnt give any error

Further explanation on why it is on a local script. Every game has a game server. And the things you see are loaded on your computer, called client side. Things loaded on your computer can be accessed by exploits thats why local side scripts are prone to exploits. However, exploits cannot manipulate the game server. So you want to use client side for stuff that is unique to a certain player. Like they are watching a cutscene noone else can see. Or to move the camera since each viewport camera for each player are in each player's local side. When it comes to important information like money or stamina. Saving it server side prevents exploits from touching it. However stuff created server side(workspace specifically) usually get copied and put into every client side, unless you put them in ServerStorage or ServerScriptStorage which only the Server can see. Things that happen to the client do not copy over to the server side by default its a one sided effect.
