Thank you! I watched this twice, then went outside and replaced my headlights in my ‘06 Outback. It went perfectly except I wrecked my same clip as you did. Monkey see monkey do! Anyway it’s a real relief having headlights again and it was very easy once you showed me how. Happy Holidays!

This also works on all the new models/generations, as far as i am aware. 2020+ legacy, outback, WRX, and forester, i know for from doing them to my own and my son's mothers. I recently got a 2005 outback LL Bean edition for a good price and forgot how annoying the beeping was and howbit started immediately before even driving rofl. So i figured i need to see how it worked on this generation, figuring it would be different. I'm glad it's something they've kept consistent throughout the years since I've turned into something of a Subaru collector rofl. Planning on finding a STi or two whenever i find the right ones. The golden goose however will be a Baja with the Turbo in good or even decent enough condition at least. Thats hard to do, especially up in New England with them either being rusted out or absued, along with people that have them not wanting to part ways with them for anything rofl.

I have an 05 XT Wagon that the original owner ran out of oil. The car was from the South, so it has no rust at all on it. I replaced the shortblock with one from a 16 STI that had a slight rod knock. I replaced the valves and valve seals and re-shimmed all the lifters replaced the crank and bearings and ended up with a very healthy longblock. It is my favorite Subaru of all the Subarus Ive ever owned! I plan on storing it during the winter and keeping it forever.

This noise makes me feel so nostalgic. Haven’t been in a flight since summer 2019. Used to go to the Maldives every year with my family. My dad would work his ass off to afford to go and we would only have one holiday a year for 3 weeks. This sound reminds me of the sun, the beach, the waves, but most importantly my dad. He’s no longer with us but I’ll always think of him when I hear this sound. Maybe next summer will be the year we can finally hear it again ❤
