Chp. 2 - Meeting my INNER CHILD for the 1st time
In this video, I share my experience of meeting my inner child for the first time. This is a crucial step in shadow work and necessary to practice unconditional love and emotional healing. The divine feminine is a powerful energy when we release her from our subconscious.
This is Chapter 2 in my series: Diary of an Alchemist. This series is me re-telling my journey over the last 6 years through emotional healing, inner child work, shadow work. I took extensive notes and have 20 journals to reflect on to remember what I was going through and what I was feeling.
The reason why I'm sharing my journey so publicly is because I know the immense amount of inner peace, confidence and happiness I feel as a result of it. And while I can be the happiest me that I can be in this life - that's as far as the impact of my journey will ever go, if I never talk about it to anyone else.
However, if I share what I went through, I may be able to help others learn how to move through very difficult emotions and release limiting beliefs and shift into a place where they feel happy, peaceful and confident too. A world full of people who are kind, empowered and take no shit, will be a very awesome place indeed.

    This hits home. You've got to be an earth or air moon, or at least have Saturn on your moon cuz I relate so much to internalizing and intellectualizing. I also love using pattern recognition, so I can relate to all your sticky notes. LMAO! wonderful video! Cannot wait for the next installment!

      😁 dude, you called it! Virgo moon here. 🙋‍♀️ I bet we’d have some deep conversations then comparing notes on all our observations of the world. The best kind of conversation! And sticky notes are my jam! Gotta have some way to organize ideas outside of my brain. 🤪 thank you so much for watching and for letting me know you enjoyed it! (Truly, your encouragement is helping me stay motivated to finish up this next one and get it posted!)

      @@carissa.explainsitall I'm a Capricorn Moon with a Sagittarius Sun, so that's a definite yes! I love deep convos and understanding things from a mechanical angle as well as a philosophical one. You're most welcome! I'm happy that we're able to encourage one another! This world needs more authenticity and self-revelation. It only makes us stronger.

    Appreciate this, I've just been made redundant after 2 years in a job that has absolutely destroyed my nervous system and I can't wait to just play video games, read, journal, go on nature walks and get a massage 😁

    I tried taking it off my boyfriends plate. I felt just as burnt out if not more but I didn't care and I hid it from him so I could help him and I've always done this for everyone. I hid it well and he didn't know but he refused to let me take his pain. It breaks my heart seeing him struggle and I don't know how to help

    For example, some family members were in the military, so I started to read all the Tom Clancy books and writing in the margins the way that some of these hazardous circumstancances could have been avoided. I loved it so much that I started following youtube military channels and helping the engineers on safety gear. Then, I found that the cargo freight and trade processes were very inefficient, so for a few years I copied all the processes, the forms, the tax info, the limitations, etc. And sent the solutions to the port authorities! Some ideas have been implemented.

      @geeseylynn, that’s truly incredible that you dove into learning and understanding all that!! I love that you then took all that learning and were able to actually contribute to affecting trade processes. 😮😮 that’s super impressive and thank you for sharing!

    It seems like you are more focused on sociology rather than focusing on a knowledge ability.

  • @geeseylynn
    @geeseylynn 3 місяці тому

    Carissa, if you find One subject and focus on that, you will find yourself more satisfied at knowing that subject and can train and inform others either confidence. If you skip around, you lose the focus of any knowledge of any subject. 😊

      Thanks for the tips! Honestly, I think I had to skip around a lot in those early years to even find the things that I was passionate about learning. Kind of like sampling or “taste testing” for subjects that sparked my curiosity. I’ll finally talk about this in episode 4; but the topics I found that I loved were emotional healing, spirituality and esoteric subjects. But at this point in my story - they weren’t even on my radar because no one in my life talked about those. 😬 but that’s ok, it was all part of my journey of finding myself. 😁
