Our sincere apologies this has been your experience with our new buckles. We developed this buckle to be able to control the quality and function as it is patented by us and made here in the USA. Over the past 33 years we have continued to tweak our kneepad design with slight advancements where we see areas that can improve based on customer feedback and field testing. Unfortunately, when we make these improvements, sometimes there is a period of further tweaking that has to be done to get a part just perfect. It's a craft and an art, much like you do. ​@MrProknee I got a pair of the all purpose knee pads in December 2022. Do I have the newest design buckles? Also, is there a video showing the pro pouch?

Hi Rick! This was a review done by Insider Carpentry, so he can't see your comment to reply back, but I can speak to your question from a manufacturer's standpoint. We have many carpenters that use our pads. The key is getting the proper fit so that they don't feel cumbersome, just like a shoe. You might also consider our compact All Purpose model, the AP16 as it is meant for smaller spaces or if you're going to be up and down a lot.

@@MrProknee I tried a pair of those and had to return them. They are great knee pads. But they would get caught on my ladder going up. Thanks for the response.

@@rick9083 well you probably shouldn’t wear your knee pads on a ladder, I don’t think you’ll need them up there.

Can you refer me to any videos that would show me how to use this jig for hardwood flooring on stairs with stair noses? Or have you ever used this jig for that application?

It's not a metal box. It's a Delrin plastic box made for cutting.

@@stevew3978 metal , plastic, it’s on a new floor. Being a general contractor in two states( hands on) I never put tools period on floors without some protection . Not trying to bust on you, but somewhere down the line it will bite you in the ass. First thing I or my installer do is protect the clients house, floor, baseboards from extension cords. Etc.

Hi Yannick, we have many guys from the roofing industry who swear by our pads. Our rubber exterior boots are made of a 3 ply polynitral and should hold up to just about any condition! We also offer separate replacement boots when these get worn in over the years. Hope this helps!

Yannick Roy All of our distributors are equipped with information on how to properly measure along with our special measuring instrument, the ProMeasure. But we do encourage our customers to let their distributor know we are here to help if they have any questions! Just be sure to try on your set before leaving the store to ensure you have the best fit and avoid any size change after the fact. Your distributor should have parts kits in the store but if they don’t, they should be able to place an order for one. I would recommend calling ahead about any parts you are interested in purchasing.
