Is Howie Roseman the GREATEST GM of ALL TIME?
Howie Roseman was once fired and written off as a failure of a front office associate. Since then, his run of discovering talent and signing key pieces at eye-popping rates has been something to behold, but this next feat?! Oh boy. Arrest him. #sports #sportsnews #nfl #collegefootball #howieroseman #jalencarter #nolansmith #joshsweat #philadelphiaeagles #flyeaglesfly

EVERYONE Owes Bryce Young an APOLOGY

In a league where it's so easy to write quarterbacks off if they're not instantly stars, you need stories like this. Bryce Young went from a phenom to a bust, if was left up to the sports world. He was never a bust. Appreciate him. Appreciate Dave Canales. Amazon's Tablets Are Actually Still GOOD?
Since coming back from the bench in 8 games very mediocre only 10TDs 6INTs 3 fumbles (only played 2 teams w a winning record) on the season he is still 33rd in passer rating and has a 46 QBR rating…
It’s important to not lower the bar too low for him. Until last week, his passer rating was even worse than last year. He only has one game of over 100. Caleb Williams has 6. His turnover to TD ratio is just over 1:1 He’s only playing well good if you’re flexible with your definition of good. He has a top 10 O-line and a top 5 rb. Out of the other QBs with a top 10 line, he has vastly underperformed the rest. Amazing is just too generous a word rt now, even good is too generous given his stats and how good his line is. Let’s just continue to be patient and hope for the defense to get some help, enough of the “Bryce needs weapons” narrative too. The defense needs some draft picks sent their way for a while now
Since he came back, Bryce has ranked in the top 12 QBs in the league per PFF. Week 16 he was the best QB per PFF.
@ by what metrics? It’s not passer rating, and I don’t think it TD:TO, yards, ypa, it’s not wins, it’s not ppg. I think he’s bottom 10 in QBR if not bottom 5. There was an article last week using two combined metrics to measure qb efficiency. He was one of only 2 QBs that were in the negative. It was a yahoo article I’ll try to find it
@incutool it was overall offensive grade
@ but how did they come to that grade? Using what metrics? Sorry but that sounds arbitrary if he is bottom 10 in nearly every category, bottom 5 in a few
@incutool that's something you're gonna have to Google yourself because I don't know the answer. I just know that I don't care about stars. I've been seeing the way he's been playing these past few weeks and he's constantly improving, even if his stats don't blow you out of the water. You can save your time trying to find that yahoo article, I don't care what they have to say
*****CORRECTION**** The Eagles did not underestimate my Panthers. Eagles Coach was quoted as saying we are preparing for the Panthers as if they won 4 games str8t bc the games they lost were so close. Panthers almost did the damn thang against the Eagles period. Keep Pounding. Oh yea I doubted his azz😂😂😂😂😂
Hahaha! Man I think we underestimated y'all!
I must admit, I was trippin too.
@@Anonymous-hd6fc respect for that honesty!
No, y’all owe Bryce an apology. Some of us knew this time was coming.
@@jalan6270 *They. Well said 😂😂😂
As much as many owe Bryce an apology, the sports media world hardcore owes the Panthers an apology. Mel Kiper, Rex Ryan, Rich Eisen, the entire The Facility desk among others never apologized to the Panthers for the teardown of the organization after benching Bryce, which was well earned and I, as someone who actually watched weeks 1&2 (unlike the aforementioned very obviously didn't) said. Also the media immediately started demanding a Bryce trade and trying to speak it into existence, which I as someone who has watched enough football knew not to overreact and thought Bryce would have a chance to turn it around at some point and that trading him then would have been a terrible decision. So the Panthers deserve a big apology that they haven't received from anyone outside of Ochocinco and McAfee, and Bryce deserves an apology from the overreactionary peeps online. Luckily I'm measured in my sports takes and don't need to take anything back. 😁 Great vid though, love you getting on peeps about that, there were a lot of people talking like Bryce would be looking for work at a temp agency come next offseason.
Absolutely bro. I was actually shocked because their front office has historically not made the best decisions post-Cam. So to watch this whole process from the outside was intriguing. Bryce has been a winner his whole life, but he learned a new lesson. I never turned on him, just wanted the best situation. As a Bama alum.
@ayejayhubb 💯 the truth. Rhule was awful when he took over, and got even worse when we hired Fitterer as GM to pair with him. I can only imagine that Fitterer stayed on last year to do the bidding of the owner. The best thing Tepper could have done was hire a promising young GM (Dan Morgan) and let him hire a promising young coach and reconstruct the roster, and otherwise f off, which is seemingly the case. With Morgan and Canales, and not to mention long time Chiefs VP of Football ops Brandt Tilis, it's a brand new FO and should be treated as one. But it isn't, and the big guys on TV like to bring up not trading Brian Burns for two firsts in 2022, and trading him for less over this past offseason even though the leadership is vastly different, and the previous FO declined to pay the guy all of last year despite not trading and wanting to keep him. The previous regime didn't make a shred of sense, and need to get more flak than the organization itself.
@ NAIL ON THE HEAD. That Burns situation really hurt. But brighter days ahead for you guys. I’m just so glad the GM got Canales. Two things they need to do now is build the OLine. The defense. And maybe 1 more receiver. Lastly, have realistic expectations, DO NOT FIRE CANALES.
Reggie played in a top PAC 10 and vs ND .
Nah, I got receipts saying giving him a a chance to study form the sideline and watch a vet like Andy will do him wonders. He had confidence when watching from the sideline. Like he knew he was about to put the league on notice.
Much respect from a couple of diehard Panthers fans over here 🤝
Appreciate you!
Seeing Sam Darnold do what he has done this season has been crazy to watch.
I love CRT, I love Plasma and I love OLED. I I've never really been impressed with LCD and LED. Never had any experience with DLP TVs though seen a lot of DLP projectors. Great video
Thanks!
Not to mention all the dropped balls by his WRs. If not for those Bryce numbers would be even better. And we win 3 of those games. I like where this team is headed.
I subscribed just off this video. Keep going bruh.
Appreciate that bro!
Andy Dalton has been so good. He reminds me of Derek Anderson backing up Cam way back when. I'm not going to pretend I didn't have my doubts (you know how Bama qbs be) but I'm happy to see Bryce stepping it up and I'll always root for a Panthers player no matter what.
I don't know what the right move will be, but I do know that whatever the vikings do, they will f*ck it up because they always do.
@@svmoua24 I think they follow the Green Bay example here.
Praise God Brother!!💪🏼 #KeepPounding I loved the words you spoke about the Panthers. But mostly about Christ
@@shawnhume4704 Praise Him bro. I’m a Bama fan. Bryce fan. Not a Panthers fan but a Philly fan. Most importantly, a humble Christ follower.
I don’t I’ve never stopped believing in him, but yeah all do
He's also doing it with thielin Coker n legette as his receivers. Get him a wr1 and then have Coker n legette as ur WR2 and 3 and we good
I don't. I was hoping my phins could get him on the cheap.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
No we don’t. He owes us an apology! If a player is playing subpar they need to be benched until they get their crap together. As the #1 overall pick this is wants expected. I’m glad for him playing to his potential and the team and fans supporting him through the tough times. Let’s go Bryce! Year three, nothing less than a playoff run is expected!

Bryce and Canalas gonna be hell going forward! Get them a defense and it's over for the NFC South.

used to get clowned by my friends for being a panthers fan and of course he’s a bucs fan. Now time just gotta prove me right
When someone doing something you can’t how can you trash them when they low people kill me having a opinion on something they can’t do they self you might be trash at your job loll
I'm still not 100% on board yet. But they are calling him the Carolina Reaper. He's brought death to everyone he's beat... Dennis Allen, Daniel Jones, and the Arizona Cardinals postseason 😂
Young has outplayed Richardson, stroud and all rookie QBs throughly the past 6 weeks so we all owe him an apology
And young’s stats if he keeps playing like he has the last few games he would have 4900 yards 31 tds and 3 picks
Yea jimmy g was drafted by the 9ers 😂
You didn’t read the description did you?
@ayejayhubb why would I waste my time? Make better content
This the NFL not collegiate. Should a could a would a. When you really like that it shows. Joe burrow went to the playoffs in his first three years. No excuses. He alright but this NFL
Respect. Can’t call a QB trash when he’s not given the tools to be successful though. If you can see “It” in college, I’m positive it’s there. Situations are everything. Blake Bortles was not that great in college, and he made a playoff run with the Jags for one year, all because of situations. That’s Blake Bortles.
@ayejayhubb yes you can. Before you get ahead of yo self, tell me what is his grade???????
Has he not been playing better? Then to the people who said he was trash need to say sorry cuz he isn't trash tf y'all on about😂 1:56
Joe Burrow did not go to the playoffs his first three years, Bengals had a top 5 pick after Burrow's rookie year with Burrow going 2-7-1 . 😂
Huh? He's trashing out. I ain't said shit bout him. I don't owe him shit. But I can say the ones who's have spoken on him had a right too.
He put the beyond terrible tape out there and andy dalton made it look even worse. Im glad what ever clicked for him clicked but cant fault ppl for watching the film.
@@dixienormus8406 I agree. But you can’t turn the tape on and not see the culmination. Terrible situation in the beginning, lack of weapons, no protection, bad scheme. All that led to a lack of confidence. Then bad coaching. It led to the shell of a QB Bryce was. Look at Caleb in Chicago.

A week ago I moved a decades old 50” 1080P plasma tv from the dining-room to the spare bedroom. Attached to a Roku Streambar it still rocks! 3x as heavy as the 65” QLED 4K TV that replaced it 🤪
😂😂😂😂😂😂 my parents’ 50” is just now starting to wear. Piece of history.
Still rocking a 50” 3D 1080P Samsung plasma TV after more than a decade 🤪 My son still uses a 50” 720P Samsung plasma to game on. Lag & refresh rate are hard to beat 👍
We need to sign sam to 2 years. Let it be like how Jordan Love sat behind Aaron Rodgers for 3 years. In these next 2 years we can have them work together, sam can give some insight on what it's like being an nfl qb, then we part ways and we have our franchise QB in JJ Mccarthy.
You don’t gotta pay JJ shit until he proves himself. And there’s no harm in signing Darnold to a two year deal. If he thinks he’s worth 5 years he can go see what it’s like on the raiders. He’ll regress like he did with the jets
We don't have to pay JJ for 4 years lol
You're already paying him
I still have one it work good
Man they ain’t letting Sam walk bottom line unless some team off a crazy ass contract like Atlanta did to Kirk cousins with almost everything guaranteed but I think most of the nfl understands now from that example 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@Yo-broski man you would think. But look at the Bears. That’s it that’s all 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@ yup them and the raiders got me rethinking tbh 💀
@ 😂😂😂 Raiders a little better though you got hope. This is life after Derek Carr. They’re just waiting for this draft. Stupid to let Jacobs go though.
they’re 100% not keeping Sam. Jones is gonna be their back up next year and JJ starter.
Sam ain’t going nowhere lol he staying bottom line
Packer fan here so I really don't care, but if I was the GM I would find a way to keep both, maybe by cutting some underperformers on their higher veteran salaries and replace them with hungry rookies, or see if Darnold will take less money than he can get on the open market given the Vikes are legit Superbowl contenders. That might be attractive to him. Trading JJ isn't a great option, but it is an option. They could recoup most if not all that #14 picks value. Bottom line for them is after 15+ years, they finally found their successor to Culpepper. They've got their guy. He fits perfect with their system and coach, he's loved and respected in the locker room, the whole shebang. Chicago has never in their 100 years history had THEIR guy. The Vikings have THEIR guy. They don't grow on trees. You don't let Darnold walk. Green Bay drafted THEIR guy 3 years before they need him twice in a row now, but they have the luxury of being able to do that with no team owner up in the booth pressuring GM decisions.
You are the first person to think through this logically. I salute you and agree 100%. They could copy GB and hold JJ, but something tells me that they weren’t completely sold on him as the future anyway. They just needed someone above average post-Kirk. But they have their guy. And Sam’s young relatively. He’s in the same boat as Baker. I would keep him, franchise him, and if next year is a repeat of this year, let JJ go. That’s just the business.
CORRECTION: I misspoke, Jimmy G was SIGNED to the 49ers to backup/compete with CJ Beathard. I know who Jimmy G was drafted by. We all do lol.
👏👏👏
kirk is a pro to get those contract . he ll bounce back and be the hight paid back up ever

WOAH lmao
Stafford under Hurts? Are you sure you don't do drugs?
😂😂😂😂😂 my bias poked out a bit. I love Stafford man. He never gets enough credit. But in my defense Jalen has over 3k total yards and 32 touchdowns. So give me a little credit.
