Glad you released this. I will be on the Encore in May, for an Alaskan cruise. Will be interesting to see what they do with all of the outdoor seating. I suppose it depends on how cold it gets.

I was in an Oceanview room on the Getaway and it is the exact same layout as this balcony room - except of course the balcony part. The upgrade to balcony would have been around $200 pp, so I passed.

on the Joy in Alaska in May...been on the Bliss Haven twice...for us, its the only way...Aft facing Penthouse, best views in Alaska...but NCL is going the same way as all the others...higher and higher prices, fewer amenities and reduced service...this will probably be our last cruise

One needs a chair that reclines if you have a balcony. Lazing out on the deck and able to lean back and enjoy a real must for a balcony cruise.

We will be going on our first cruise, and it is on the Celebrity Ascent. Our room is on the 3rd deck an ocean view, I hope we made the good choice. The ship looks beautiful, thanks for sharing.

This coming February will be my first time on this ship and with MSC. I have 25 cruises under my belt so far, mostly with Princess, Celebrity and Holland America. My cruise here will only be 5 nights, 6 days out of Miami. Look for my posting on Cruise Critic for that sailing under Racerboy221

This vlog is just perfect for us. Our Panama canal cruise on the Jade just got canceled and our #2choice is Azores, Canaries and Morocco out of Lisbon. We were not sure about the Star as we Loved the Jewel Class ships. Now we think the Star is going to fit us just as well. Thanks! I just hit send on our booking request to our travel agent after watching.

We were on the Star in 2013 doing a Panama Canal, then again in 2019 Venice to Miami. The one in 2019 had propulsion issues on our cruise and the next couple. The ship has since had a redo. The ship is on the small to mid size and a little older. But saying that because of its size it gets to travel to exotic locations that the lager ships cannot go. If you cruise for the itinerary this could be the ship for you. If you like bells and whistles on the ship maybe pass. Saying all this we are booked in Nov 2024 to sail on her again on another exciting itinerary.

Thank you for a very short, concise overview of the NCL Sky. The background music was perfect .. and we were able to hear every word. Some guest post just themselves moving about the ship. Their antics take away from the information that needs to be conveyed. So thank you for the “information “ only .. Not the theatrics 😊

Nice enough but why do most newer ships have to have taupe cabins and a taupe color scheme in so many public areas?

Considering my first NCL this December 24. Most likely Capr Town Mauritius but concerning Lisbon BA transatlantic Dec. Or Hong Kong On Spirit . Decisions decisions.

We are going on the Viva on Dec 15th thru Dec 22nd 2024 We can't wait so excited. We loved the Encore we went on 2 years ago.❤
