How has this leather aged?

Total depravity and unconditional election aren’t a given in though. We are all sinners- this isn’t total depravity. Total depravity is total inability. We are unable to ever accept God. This contradicts scripture. We are able to seek God without unconditional election. The word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two edged sword….

I really love how they put the verse numbers in bold in the reference section, it makes it so easy to find the verse when your eyes go to the references.

Yeah, NOT a fan of the size change for the PSQ’s 😒 I got my two copies of the LSB PPR yesterday. They’re gorgeous, and perfect size, I got the black 5 solas and the navy blue goatskins.

I have the blue goat skin full Yap edition coming in today. I’m stoked. It appears that the PPR is somewhere in between the PSQ and the Clarion in terms of text block. I do enjoy the thickness of the Clarion, but also enjoy the two column bottom reference format of the PSQ. So having an LSB in this format with this size is going to be golden.

The portable is a great size! I love my older, smaller PSQs. I got the new NLT PSQ, it’s a great size too, but the slight size increase makes it stick out of my purse. And I can’t have that for carrying everywhere.

Hi David, these look amazing and I’m considering switching to LSB due to some of translation decisions I.e 1 John 2:27 referencing Holy Spirit as whom (a person!). Moving from an Allan 36gsm NASB95 I’m struggling to find a size comparison as I believe these are a fair bit smaller. Is there any chance you could do a size comparison between the two, even post up a photo or something so I can compare? Being in Australia I have no ability to see one in person to do a comparison myself. Love your channel my brother, you have blessed me greatly over the years.

So sorry to derail the topic but could you give an opinion on the rabbi at Rock of Israel Congregation in Hickory via his latest sermons this month (in your spare time of course). He's not a Calvinist nor an OSAS'er. But he might be a legalist. It's hard to tell. In a recent sermon it seemed Galatians was not his favorite book because he says we should still "do the best we can" to obey the 613 laws. Yet he preached today (7/27) about seeking Gods face not his hand and true repentance. I need another set of ears and already asked several friends to come and hear for themselves and give an opinion, but nobody's come yet. Thanks.

About 20,000,000 Bibles are sold in the USA each year. Let us say half of them can be tied to the purchaser somehow and are "tracked." And let us say that just 1% of those 10,000,000 are flagged for further review. That's 100,000 transactions. Of that number, how many will actually be bad guys about to do bad things. Maybe 100? So for every 1 bad guy this helps to spotlight (and he may have been found out other ways) there would be 999 nonbad guys. And most bad guys arent out there buyi g Bibles. That's not a good use of law enforcement resources and they'd know that so wouldn't do this. There's nowhere near the evidenceto support the claim that the feds are "tracking" Bible purchases in any sort of drag net as implied by the claim. Seems like a political smear to me. Is there any more evidence on this or did the Committee just drop it and move on?

This is but a generalization of a person leaving one for another . No Scriptures available . The points made here are common among many believers. Maybe he gets some satisfaction of some kind . Personally my time can be spent spending time with the Lord in His Word . A calvinist I ain't BUT a child of God I am .

I believe the size of the CSB Diadem is perfect! If it was less wide then the words would be crammed next to center column. Also, the Legacy Bible that you mention by steadfast has no references; so Ofcourse it would be taller. I do agree they could add the gilt edging perimeter and emboss a copperish or rose gold stamp. Also, no need to stamp on the front Holy Bible when it’s already stamped on the spine. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. If you did have a specialty Bible. I would still keep the cross references, concordance, and matte finish maps with a map index. This to me would be the perfects travel bible. Can you imagine going to Jerusalem with this Bible and finding map locations and tying it to scripture and cross referencing it with events that are shown in Israel. That’s why I’m apprehensive to have just UA-cam people making the ultimate Bible. Because there are different reasons each person wishes they had beyond just a few people.

Ironically, it was a Tozer youtube video (audio only) that most convinced me of the meaning of Hebrews 10, drawing the conclusion that it is not speaking of losing ones salvation. But, at the end of the day, I consider you to be a brother in Christ, believing the matters of first importance (1 Corinthians 15:3-5), and would be honored to fellowship/worship with you.

This video feels like divine providence. I just found your channel while searching for things on this topic. I have extreme anxiety about marking in my Bibles. I recently purchased my very first “premium” Bible, a leather interleaved ESV Bible, specifically to engage with the word in a deeper way. Yet I feel paralyzed with fear about making notes in it. I need everything to be coherent, organized, and consistent. I don’t want to get into it and realize midway that I’ve found a more efficient way to make notes. AHH! Anyway, coming across this video feels like a gift from God. Even the music was calming and ephemeral, like God encouraging me and reminding me of His presence. I’m still not ready to take the plunge, but it brought me comfort to hear what you had to say. You seem like an amazing person with a beautiful love for God. God bless you, brother.
