The Wounded Healer Archetype In An Age of Pathologized Suffering
Only by examining our own wounds can we truly discover wholeness, the unique expression of this life, and what we are called to bring forth into the world to help others. However, befitting Greek mythology, that is a Herculean task. Like all archetypes, the Wounded Healer has its shadow polarities constellated within our inner universe, which can dim the light within the wound.
This installment of Archetypes of Awakening will explore the delicate journey of psychological and emotional healing through the Wounded Healer’s shadow polarities of Victimhood and Saviourhood.

These types should never attempt to emphasize with me. They can't feel as I do, they can't be as I am. All of their empathy with me is self deception and their lies, both to me and themselves, are harmful to me and to themselves.

If you made a small adjustment to your accent to pronounce “ing” endings as “ing” instead of “in”, you would have a much more authoritative tone.
This is brilliant. I don't know how or why I chose to.listen to this video this morning but it resonates so much with what I know to be true. The pathologising of normal human emotions is the greatest crime/mistake of the twentieth/ twenty first century
This is an amazing video. I had no idea there was such an archetype. I'm working on a book where the perpetrator-victim-savior dynamic is very important (to shed light on and eradicate). And I have had more than my fair share of sessions with self-proclaimed healers and intuitives, probably all of them in more need of soul-searching and healing than I. where they said things to me that were either off-the-wall wrong or could have been very bad for me had I believed them. They get paid for that. Finally, I learned reiki and another modality of energy healing specifically to heal myself from long-term severe depression and trauma. I have yet to meet someone else who learned energy healing to heal themselves and not get paid to heal other people with it. So strange.

Your videos are very interesting! Im so curious about the other archetypes. Where can I find them all? Is there a book (I know about the Caroline Myss archetypes) or a website where I can read about it? Or do I have to stay patient for your videos? 😅
There is much written about archetypes some that means more to how they appear in the tarot deck and also how they are used in screenwriting neither of which tend to distinguish between and archetype as a pure energy pattern or field which when subject to human suffering and ego can become distorted so creating the shadow polarities we refer to in this work. A good place to start perhaps would be Clarissa pinkola este or Robert Johnson. Our introduction vidéo also helps explain this. Hope that helps.

And just by virtue receives so much hate which is evident to a darkness that is present in this world and has been from eternity past or since it was created.
