Eric Ravilious: Drawn to War (2022) | Official Trailer | Dartmouth Films
Переглядів 5144 місяці тому
ERIC RAVILIOUS: DRAWN TO WAR is a true story. Eric Ravilious is as compelling and enigmatic as his art. Set against the dramatic wartime locations that inspire him, Margy Kinmonth’s film brings to life this brilliant but still grossly undervalued British artist. Caught in the crossfire of war 80 years ago, Ravilious’s legacy largely sank without trace, until now. Made with the blessing of the R...
Excellent documentary and huge well done to Steve Coogan for doing such a perfect copy of Roger Moore's voice.
@Dartmouth_Films Will you release it on Bluray at some point?
I heard the stories about how his third marriage to Luisa Mattioli disintegrated especially post-Bond. She was fiery, not sympathetic and treated him like crap especially when he had cancer. Evie Bricusse and Joan Collins further stories about it were rather saddening. Can see why (despite the affair) he adored his now widow, Christina. The childrens stories conflicted a little and they were a little reserved on the events. Between a rock and hard place.
"but I need you, James!" "so does England."
Roger Moore looks the part of a British aristocrat from the Colonial Age. By far the classiest Bond, but not necessarily the best overall.
One of the classiest and most underrated actors ever. And to me the only James Bond 007!
Steve coogan narrating this in Roger Moore’s style
I thoroughly enjoyed this documentary. I would love to watch this again.
This was a great Christmas Day treat , Love Rog !!
Legend 🇬🇧
They do not come like this anymore. Of course, they don’t…
Is that Steve Cogan doing the voice?
Yes
How lovely. His Bond films showed me places where I wanted to be and things I wanted to do, with a gentleness and wit that made it family viewing. I cannot answer that silly question therefore “who is your favorite Bond.” Apples and oranges. But come Christmas time, watching a Roger Moore Bond after the Queen’s Speech is the perfect film.
Plenty believe Sean Connery was the best Bond, I myself think Roger Moore perfected that role, he was Bond, James Bond.
He didn't have Patrick McGoohan's charisma and three dimensional magic. Who did!
MOORE FOREVER -FOREVER MOORE
Hopefully Amazon or HBO will pick this documentary up💯
music is too loud, you can't hear anything anyone is saying
I remember Roger Moore in the Saint 😇 And James Bond ❤ I Love this Wonderful trailer ❤ With Love From Tiffany ❤
Hello Alan...
If Charm is a human being, it will stand no chance against Roger Moore.
I know Moore was never regarded as a great actor, but somehow we always loved him and enjoyed his stuff. Sometimes being a star and being a great actor aren't intertwined. He wasn't even convincing as other characters, but I was fine with that because I enjoyed HIM. RIP.
Good point. Similar things could have been said about John Wayne. People loved him - couldn’t get enough of him - despite the fact that, whatever his movie, he just played the same bloke!
From Russia With Love....and Roger Moore.....who wants to tell the director?
This will be a really good watch, looking forward to seeing it.
I love James Bond, especially Moore and Connery. Actually have a poster of Moore on my livingroom wall, from one of his Bondmovies. A friend of mine knew him. I loved "The Saint" too. And "The persuaders" with Tony Curtis.
im saving this 1 for christmas day on bbc1.
Looks like it's going to be exquisite but I couldn't hear the dialogue over the backing music towards the end of the trailer.
He was at the Diddy parties
His humorus side in Cannonball Run really made him a real person when I saw it as a kid
Steve Coogan...
👍👏👏👏🙏 PLUS BOND TU MOORE
HULLO ALAN
If was my JB during my childhoid (77-85). Then he stood forever
To me Roger Moore was, is and forever will be the only James Bond. RIP - he was fantastic.
This is something to SEE! Can't wait!
The spy who loved me was the best bond movie imho... The adventure+tech+exotic all in to one harmoniously.
The quintessential James Bond imho. Very British.
The world says Sean Connery is the best James Bond. I disagree, it’s Roger Moore. Rest in peace sir.
Man, I miss Roger Moore, George Carlin, and Richard Pryor everyday. Roger Moore along with George Carlin and Richard Pryor will always be my absolute favorites, Roger Moore is my most favorite ❤ James Bond actor, and George Carlin as well as Richard Pryor are both the greatest American comedians of all time.
To say he was the best James Bond is debatable. To say he was the best Simon Templar is beyond dispute.
IM SO WATCHING THIS... Ive always liked him
I was born 76 England Roger Moore was Every where his best Bond Film by far is Spy Who Loved Me
I think what makes Roger Moore’s interpretation of Bond special is the fact that he was not just giving us a spy movie, he was giving us a role model of what a real man and gentleman should be. He was entertaining us and he was teaching us.
Say what you want about Moore, he defined a whole generation of Bond.
Switched off when that pompous up his own arse (and others)Walliams showed up.
Steve coogans impressions all sound like... Steve coogan.
I was Sean Connery's assistant. It was never meant to be as he refused a personal driver, costumer, makeup artist or publicist on Rising Sun. My dad took me to watch Thunderball. To a 6yr old I was terrified yet loved Connery. But ROGER MOORE was my Bond. My era. My coming to age hero. What a handsome bugger. The ultimate classic James Bond Yes he made Bond more popular and put more butt's on seats. His Bond pictures were entertaining and fun. Period. He never copied Connery. But all the rest that followed just sucked.
I'd love to watch something without Steve Coogan in for once !!!
Roger Moore is the Saint 😇 James Bond ❤ He's one of my favorite actors and with Love From Tiffany ❤ I Love You ❤ Thank you so much for sharing this ❤ Peace And Love With Tiffany ❤
Jesus. Pierce Brosnan’s look is unstoppable
