I got a pair in a size 15 because true to size is 14.5 but timberland don't have them in half sizes
I wish all shoe makers made 1/2 sizes..how are you liking them?
@@filmsbyone i haven't broken them yet but for a wide they fit kinda like a medium
That's not MB.
@@melissalissa805 huh? Then where?
The video definitely shows Morro Bay. It also shows a campground which is near, but not in Morro Bay.
Love learning about new camping spots. Been by 3 of them, but haven't stayed yet. Time to change that. Thank you.
@@jimc386 so glad to hear! Which one has been your favorite so far?
Thanks for the video, I had a few questions for you! What has your experience with cleanup on this been like? I currently own a fire pit that functions on the same principle as solo stove but I also own an original BioLite camp stove and have liked that tool as well and I am planning to upgrade to either a proper Solo Stove or one of these soon. My main apprehension with going with the Biolite is that it relies on the fan for the airflow while the Solostove just relies on basic thermodynamic principles and really nothing can "break" on it other than the structure itself failing. My second blocker is that it looks like more maintenance in the long run. I loved that the handles allow you to move it while its running!
Hey, I haven’t used it that many times, but cleaning is super easy. I just basically have burnt whatever wood I had left. In the morning there is some ash that I emptied on the pits and that’s about it. I’m not planning on keeping super clean, meaning I won’t do more than just empty the ashes. If I were to use charcoal to cook, maybe..but I’m not planning to use it for cooking, I cook on our grill or stove. I do miss cooking with charcoal so I might change my mind. When it comes to the maintenance I think just charging that fan is the only maintenance. You don’t really need to use fan honestly. You can even leave it home. You can always buy and, and if you don’t love it return it and get the other one you want!
Muy bonito video🎉
Hey, like your style and approach to YT. Kind of what I want my channel to be. I just got started a few months ago. I´m from Guatemala, making content in english. I´ll be following, trying to learn from what you´re doing.
@@Findingmyfee4 thank you! I checked your channel, I really like your thumbnails. You gotta keep trying stuff and see what works, your English is great, look at other creators who make similar content. Try making videos like, Buying a meal with US dollars, how much is this food here, since your target audience is English speaking, think of what they might be interested on. How much is a vacation there, things to do. Your videos are well done, you just gotta keep making them!
@@filmsbyone Thanks for the feedback! I liked what you said about getting more comfortable speaking to the camera as you keep making videos.

This question might be out of the blue but i remember I watched a video of a spot you went camping with your family before. It was at a campground and you had like some type of brick wall and a river on the camp site also i believe it was close to the beach. This might be to vague but I'm trying to camp over in that area so just trying to figure it out.
@@michaeldoestheinternet hey! It’s Morro Bay
@@filmsbyone thanks so much

Hi Juan I watched the first half of this video last week and I believe it (partially, at least) inspired me to go camping. I live in Morro Bay but haven't camped here; I instead camped out at El Chorro Regional Park, which is about 6 miles away. I'm considering camping in Morro Bay sometime; can you share more precisely where your campsite was located?
So glad you got inspired to go camping Harold. How was it at El Chorro? The Morro Bay campground is Cerro Alto Campground in San Luis Obispo. www.recreation.gov/camping/campgrounds/233117
Cerro Alto, according to another comment by the uploader
@ Thank you, Eric!
@@HaroldJohnson You're welcome. Somehow I missed @filmsbyone answering your question a month before me. Oh well... I'll add that Cerro Alto Campground is near a hiking trail that leads to a peak with great views of the surrounding area. If memory serves, you can easily walk from the campsites to the trailhead.
@@ericbakuladavis That’s strange, I’d missed it too. I’m guessing it was retroactively published or a glitch in UA-cam’s commenting system.
Those are classic old school hikers. They look very comfortable. I just ordered myself a pair from REI for $60! I have a pair of Salomon X ultra 4s I’ve had for a few years now and the tread is wearing down a little. Plus they’re very thin on the underfoot and I’m praying the tims will be better on rocks.
How much was the boat rental for the hour?
Very cute video and everyone went camping, including your doggie AND bunny! Great fun, esp. for the kids! I've only camped at Sycamore Canyon once, after a day-long bicycle tour, but found it to be a nice campground and the short walk to the beach was especially nice. Lastly, Juan, you know how to cook, man! 🤜🤛
@@Tanstaafl1976 i don’t love bringing the bunny but have to if we don’t have anyone to take care of him 😅. Camping after biking huh? That sounds fun. How long was your bike tour? And I gotta say I’m a pretty good cook, I just love eating 😂
@@filmsbyone It was just an overnighter that the former UA-camr, Darren Alff of "Bicycle Touring Pro" UA-cam channel, periodically held for primarily for newbies to bike touring. We covered probably about 50 miles round trip between Camarillo and Sycamore Cyn. In 2025 I'm flying to So. Korea to ride Seoul to Busan (633km/393 mi.) over 7 days. The gov't built much of this infrastructure for this ride, incredible bike paths following much of 4 rivers. Here's a brief video of the ride: ua-cam.com/video/c6uZu2kkGgc/v-deo.html Cheers!
drive by GoWesty in Los Osos and buy one of their campers, comfy beds and the kids will love sleeping up top👍🇺🇸

JUST SO YOU KNOW I HAVE FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE WITH BEAR ENCOUNTERS IF A BEAR HAS CUB OR CUBS YOU WILL BE ATTACKED NO DOUBT BECAUSE ITS USUALLY THE CUBS RUNNING TO YOU AND AWAY FROM MOM THAT GETS YOU INTO TROUBLE...IVE SEEN A SMALL MOTHER GO INTO A WILD RAGE ATTACKING A HUGE I MEAN HUGE MALE BEAR...NO JOKE THE MOM WAS INJURED PRETTY BADLY BUT THE MALE WAS ALSO AND EVEN HE HAD ENOUGH EVEN A THREE TIMES LARGER MALE BACKED OFF AND GAVE UP
The loss padres has bears and mountain lines and snakes and the less populated the more prepared you should be AT ALL TIMES YOU SHOULD CARRY WITH YOU STRONG BEAR SPRAY AND A GUN
Thank you for the advice!
Be careful of the Malibu one lots of ratters and some mountain lions
Been to Morrow Bay many times. So beautiful on the coast going north. ❤ Monterey Big Sur Carmel and Pismo. Only beach in Cali you can drive your car on. All gorgeous to visit. I can’t forget Santa Cruz . Thank you Juan. Love the video.
So glad you enjoyed the video, thank you!
congrad the raccoons found your tent in the night. do you know the name of the campground that you stayed in ?? all of them have huge overgrown raccoons in them. they are famous for opening coolers and going into your car if you leave the windows down and they love digging for food in your car at night.
Awesome video. Ive been camping southern Californiafor 30 years and you mentioned a couple new spots for me. The sierras are great but sometimes you need a closer getaway
You have to come back to SLO county and go to our Thursday night farmers market in downtown SLO,it’s ranked as the #1 farmers market in California one half is Bar b que and many other incredible food vendors. Take care and have fun in your travels

The raccoons on the central coast are the size of Mini Coopers. Don’t know what they sound like though!

About half a mile further up from McGill is Chula Vista Campground, also at 8,300’ elevation. From the Mt Pinos ranger station parking lot it’s a very short 2 minute walk to the campground. Well maintained, with picnic tables, fire pits, and pit toilets, this is a first come first served campground. The best part is this campground is FREE!
