Halo on fire has gotta have one of the best sections of any Metallica song with that nasty mini solo then into that beautiful riff that continues for two minutes.

I agree with most of this except death magnetic. Death magnetic in my opinion: 1. All Nightmare long (main riff @1:14) 2. the Day that Never Comes (end riff @4:53) 3. The Judas Kiss (Chorus Riff)

I think that "The Day that Never Comes" weird riff before the solo deserves a spot in this list. Absolutely killer in that song!

My all time favourite Metallica riff is the outro on Seek & Destroy at 6:17. Simple to play but so heavy and bad ass!!

I know it’s definitely a lot of work, but videos like this could be really cool if you did a cover of the riffs instead of just playing them. To get really sick you’d have on-screen tabs. To go full Adam Neely (although that would definitely lose viewers that aren’t me) you’d do a music theory deep dive on the riffs.

Could be just me getting old but I prefer the good material from Load and Reload to everything else these days. Some really creative and groovy stuff on both those albums. Wish 72 Seasons was more of that and less of generic metal.

I'm.the only stupid person that thinks Hardwired has a GOATED riff, I know it isn't so complex or sticky, but it feels one of the most strongest riffs of metal. I fucking fell in love with that song. And i thinl the fact that makes so great.to me is that the entire song doesn't change that intensity on all it longs.
