Excuse my crazy hands 😂 I was rushing a little bit to get the video finished and I'm such a fidget arse. Thank you for watching ❤

VSG - My Pre-Op Diet, Surgery Cancellation And How I Handled It
Переглядів 6856 років тому
A mini documentary where I look back on my time during my pre-op diet, my cancellation and how I handled giving up nicotine, food and the occasional drink all at once! All diets are different so please call your dietician/surgeon if you have any questions regarding your own pre-op diet. This diet is not to lose weight nor should it be followed by anyone who isn't having surgery; I had to have a...
VSG - Jeez, I've Had The Sleeve (and why)
Переглядів 4776 років тому
Just a little introduction video for those of you who are part of the Weight Loss Surgery Community, or those who want to be part of of it. Please note surgery isn't the easy way out and the changes I've had to make will be explained in my future videos. Thank you for watching!
Surgery is 2 weeks from today. I’m so excited.
Your hair is so pretty and long! Congrats.
My dietitian said I didn’t have to do the 30 minute wait rule on liquid stage
I think your videos are great and very helpful. Thank you for posting. I hope you're doing well now as i see this video was posted 5 years ago!
Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I am two month out and it is so interesting how everybody’s experience is so different, I experienced zero pain, showered the day. I got home from the hospital on my own and never felt dizzy. Slept with my husband the day I came home. I hope you continue to do well.
lol wow!
Thank you gor sharing, love your informative video
Please create more videos
I've over prepared too 😂 love your videos. Im going on to soft food stage now.
I'm 3 weeks post op VSG starting soft foods today. This video was super helpful. Even though I'm in the US, it definitely gave me some ideas! I'm nervous to start chewing/eating again but I am excited. You look great btw. 🫶🏽
Thank you for sharing. I am one week post-surgery and am *so* tired of sweet-tasting liquids! I am looking forward to soft/mushy foods, and you have some good examples. I see this video is 4 years old, and I pray you are doing well four years on.
Honestly Louise, Your videos have been so helpful. I love your honesty and real world advice. I'm just about to start my soft diet. I hope that your journey is still going well.
I Came Across Your Videos...And It's Very Informative, I'm Having The VSG on October 3rd and I'm Terrified But Your Videos Are Calming Me, Thank You For The Videos..Wanted To Ask You If You Lost Any Hair? And I Love Your Accent 🥰
Are you on Instagram? X
Hey hun, I certainly am! @jeez_sleevedlouise x x
Thank you for making this video it was a big help and where did you get the cracker bread
You are totally inspirational. Thank you for taking the time to record your progress.
Oh thank you so much! I'm so glad I did these, even helping one person makes me happy ❤️❤️
First off, thank you for making a video that visibly shows that you stuck to your diet! Everyone on UA-cam tries to give puree food ideas but they all pile on cheese!! Or they still look like they haven’t lost weight! I cannot follow those who don’t follow the steps! You look amazing!
Thank you so much I really appreciate it! My ideas and diet was far from perfect but I found it the easiest to be consistent in which is so much more important! ❤️
I just had my surgery and I was thinking the same thing! Everyone was piling on cheese and eating a ton of potatoes.
Wow, they let you have allot of carbs. My mom just got the surgery and they told her to have absolutely zero carbs the first two months.
They did! No idea why all hospital diets vary so much around weight loss surgery, your poor mum it's hard enough to eat when you come out of surgery let alone eat protein - it's so difficult :(
ok so. This was wonderful. Also can you do an eye brow tutorial LOL. like yours are so dang good
This is so kind thank you! I actually have barely any brows since all the plucking we did in the late 2000s 😢😂 I'm glad the video helped!
I'm 3 weeks post-op and loved your videos x
Congratulations on your surgery! How are you finding it so far? I'm so pleased you like my videos, it's nice to share my experience and make others feel a little less stressed!
Can I ask if you had yours done via the nhs or a private organisation? I have been looking into doing mine with Tonic, and they’ve said I would have mine done at the l and d hospital, which is why I ask :)
Hey hun! My apologies for the slow reply, I've been struggling to get back into my account hense this different one 😂 I was NHS. I didn't even know that the L&D did any private WLS surgeries! Congrats on taking the first steps to surgery! You'll be in good hands, the staff there are amazing ❤️
Hi, thanks so much for this video. Could you possibly expand/clarify a bit about the period? Did you say it had lasted 11 weeks?this feels so scary! Thank you!
It did last that long yes! 😂😭 It wasn't very heavy though just constantly there from what I remember. Fortunately my mood swings weren't too bad either but my cravings were! I don't recall anyone saying that they had a period for as long as me so I don't think that time frame is as common, although a longer period is still definitely something that can happen due to the stress our bodies have been through x x
Hi I just found your channel, would love to see a update, loved this vid xx
Hello hun! I am definitely due to do an update video for sure 😂 Until then feel free to follow my wls Instagram account @jeez_sleevedlouise where I am still posting my food & stats etc! X
Jeez Sleevedlouise ok hun grate x
did you just ash the fish up on puree stage? x
Hey hun! I never had a puree stage oddly. But from what I see it just means blending up soft food!
thanks for this video x
Aw you're welcome I'm glad it helped x x
thank you im 10 dsys post op. you have hiven me some great ideas for soft good stsge. cant wait one more week to go for it. im struggling so much with protein shakes i dont like the taste x
Congratulations on your surgery! Aw I'm so happy this has helped 😁 yes it will definitely be a bit more exciting than liquids definitely. I hated protein shakes and still do, will only have protein powder in a smoothie!
@@jeezsleevedlouise742 on sunday ill be puree stage so im going to do smothies. i know im lacking in protein ive got a pre made shake from morrisons its nicer than the powder. did you get hair loss? im so scared of that xx
@@divinesalon339 I did experience hair loss but no where near as much as others! It started around the 4th month and lasted about half a year! X
Oh man ive been eating scrambled eggs daily since I moved to soft food stage!
Haha that's good they are a great source of protein and pretty yummy
Definitely going to fellow you on Instagram..i need as much info as possible☺😊 I joined a weight loss surgery program.. Which I can't get the surgery until I do things like 1-2 groups a month and lose weight.. And then after 6 months I can get the surgery if I do everything I'm supposed to do .. The insurance will then approve it... So it's a long journey... Thanks so much again for all the information😊👍👍✌✌💜💜
Amazing! How exciting for you. 💪 It is a long process but certainly pays off! You will get there. Always a message away if there's anything you'd like to know 😁 xx
I love this video👍👍👏👏💜💜 your the only one who has shown all the pre op meds you had to take.. All the videos I've seen they leave that part out... Thanks so much for everything and all the information😀💜👏👏👏👍👍
Hey! Aw thank you I'm so pleased it has helped! You're so welcome 😁
I’m on the soft food stage this was really helpful!
I love that it's helped you! 😁 Congrats on your surgery x
Next week for me! Working through pureé right now
@@jeezsleevedlouise742 Im getting ready to eat refried beans for the first time, any suggestions?
@@theprtillierypodcast Hey hun! I personally don't have beans as I'm not a big fan haha but I'm sure if you puree them and make sure you haven't had liquids for half an hour they should go down well 😁 full of protein too so good choice for puree for sure! 👌
@@jeezsleevedlouise742 one last question- what are wheetabix? Lol
I am going to Turkey for Gastric Sleeve surgery in 7 weeks. So pleased to have found your channel. I will be going alone and very nervous!
That makes me so happy! Well done for making the best decision hun ❤ You're very brave to go to Turkey on your own, hats off to you 😁 The nerves will be a thing of the past the second you wake up, it's definitely the unknown but promise it's not as bad as I thought it would be x
So glad I found your video. 😊
I'm happy it's been of some help to you! 😁
New Subbie! Congrats on your surgery! I'm in the process of getting gastric sleeve next year. I'm new to this vlogging thing lol, but I will be posting videos as well about my health journey! Much love and sucess🤗
