Just a suggestion, ya might wanna let your main idle a minute after a run so it can cool off a bit before shuttin down. It'll add some life.
Will the what's hot series come back this year? I try looking at Facebook to see what's doing good for striper but info's limited. My son was just born so I'm not able to go every night after work at the moment to figure it out
Not sure? had to give it up last year because there was no wifi where i was saying in Truckee and just never got back to it
Rob, was keeper key rusted to drive shaft? Should just pop up if you pry it up with a flatblade. Putting it on is usually a lot more effort to get the fins turned the correct way into the pump housing.

What color and configuration are those 8” Pro Troll Flashers?
I just buy whatever 8" chartreuse i can find but other colors work too like a 50/50 chrome and green, white, chrome etc.
Whats the make and model of the rods you use for landlocked kings?
Those are old rod by a company that out of business

@@rusticrobsguideservice6155 Here's a wonderful recipe for that nice rainbow....cut into steaks bout one inch REAL BUTTER...soften cube one teaspoon of basil, two teaspoons of parsley one clove of garlic finely minced...mix ingredients together and spread onto steaks and drizzle with honey... Broil fish close to flame about 7 minutes just when the steaks start to butterfly open( pull away from the bone) DO NOT OVERCOOK! serve with asparagus and real scalloped potatoes and rice medley...black cherry ice cream for desert! That's how I do up my Steelhead! If you drive back to Poe Dam via hwy 70 Big Bend Road and use car top boat and go to where the dam dumps into the lake in springtime...I've caught 10 pound Rainbow Trout there and seen bigger! In spring they try to jump up that water dumping into the lake! Been going back there for 30 years now ...I'm as old as Oroville dam ...My Aunt used to own the Casa Vieja restaurant on Huntioon st I used to catch crawdads for Mary Reniff Perry's Mother when I was a youngster back when the low flow used to run warm in the 70s before the lake was full. Believe it or not I bring a 100 foot rope when I go back to Poe Dam and tie off on the rebar and repel down the dam like Batman and Robin.ane I stand on the footing... there's HUGE trout back there and 10 lb Small mouth! Little landlocked kings make the Small mouth come out when you reel them in over that footing when the water level is right! I've just seen them take my Salmon never landed one but I'm not kidding!

It definitely can very, but i had a rod every 5ft from 30ft to 45ft

Ive never trolled laser minnows? we have been using Yo-zues or P-line Best thing is to book a trip with me .Ill show you all I can in one trip.

Well i reality we hooked a lot of fish that day but they were getting off so fast didn't get much footage...

Fishing with legends! I would like to get started fishing striper in the Delta. With the 100's of miles of Delta waters, where would you suggest I start with my boat? I've got a few YoZuri's and Rattle Traps and I'd be coming from Roseville. I figure the best way to learn it is to just start fishing it, but a few pointers on where to start should get me going. Thanks!
Well I am a guide and have people hire me to lean about a spot or species they want to target. that is the best way, we have great tides now, and would be glad the have you book a trip 530-632-0051
Those winds are merciless out there in open water! It's been a tough troll due to all the weeds this year too! I've been in the cuts behind Sherman and Decker islands... pitching swimbaits right against the tule points where there is a current seam and doing pretty well.
Yeah they have been bad but the incoming of smaller tides it's bearable. If you like spooning, around Eddo's on the smaller tides

Thinking about going up to Bullards, How is it towing a good size boat 22" up to the lake from Sacramento? How's the ramp and where do you stay?
