There is rules when running between the wickets. If the ball is hit in front of the batsman then the batter who hits it makes the call. If the ball is hit behind the batsman then the non striker makes the call.
Best way to learn cricket watch a game live drinking beer with an Australian and you will be an expert in no time
You’re right about the bomb for a try. That try won the pink team Penrith their 4th straight premiership.
Strictly speaking Turkey didn't exist yet in WWI, it was actually the Ottoman Empire. But its part of modern day Turkey. The Dardanelles Straights.
Actually most of the Stolen Generation were taken to something akin to a cross between a Christian boarding school and a prison where they were taught how to be servants and then sent out as servants. One of the critical parts of it was taking them hundreds of miles not just from family but also from the land which was a core part of their identity. They were the children of a mating between a white person and an aboriginal person, usually a white man forcing himself on an aboriginal woman.
The Kelly gang went down because they were shot in the arms and legs. But for a makeshift set in the Blackpowder error. It worked pretty well. Lots of Ned Kelly movies, pick one.
Dude you need to look up the Opium Wars. The Chinese had plenty of reason to hate the British. Although in reality the Chinese were as badly treated in Australia as they were in the USA, they didn't have much of a say in how things went.
There was a series of famous Gold Rushes in the 1800s around the world. Critically it went California, then Victoria then Alaska so there was a flow of people from place to place.
There are two types of boomerangs, the famous returning ones were actually used for bird hunting, but there were also much heavier ones that did not come back that were effectively throwing clubs, used to kill or at least injure animals (and people).
The estimates of the pre-colonial aboriginal population are way lower than it probably was in reality because its estimated smallpox and syphilis wiped out some 80% of the native population of Victoria (the most populous area) decades before they ever saw a white person.
The ones who weren't convicts were the soldiers sent to guard the convicts and their wives and children.
The Land Bridge thing is only true in a very technical sense. In reality during the Ice Age (mainland) Australia, New Guinea and Tasmania were all one massive landmass called Sahul which only became separated with the rising sea levels about 10,000 years ago. And even with that larger landmass there still needed to be a water crossing from SE Asia to Sahul because there was never a land connection between the two.
Hand's down Rugby league. Love both, played both but NRL for action plus without a doubt.
Fastest century is based on number of balls faced , not the minutes he batted. He scored fastest 100 ( 31 balls) and fastest 150 ( 62 balls) in ODI history.
I’m sure this is covered by now, but I’m just watching this so answering your questions anyway. Bouncing: it’s a gut feel, approx, interpretation thing for the distance between bounces during the game for both the player and the umpire. Def not an exact measurement. Kinda like 8 seconds in the backcourt or the 3 seconds in the key rule in basketball. A lot of the time, they’re guessing that. If you watch enough and play enough, you get a good deal for approx “16 yards” (15m). The umpire will most often be conservative with this, and reserve a call to instances that are an obvious infringement. Mark = catching the ball from a kick longer than 15m. After the catch, you can stop on the spot and kick or hand ball unimpeded, or you can just play on - but if you do that, the ball is live and you can be tackled. All at the player’s discretion. Melbourne Cricket Ground - yes. Gets full for cricket AND AFL. 90k+ And it’s having a regular season NFL match in 2026. 👏 If you catch/mark and fall over, again you can play on when you get up or kick/pass unimpeded.
We do produce thye best cricketers in the world
If you want a good try to watch look up Fletcher Sharpe trys. Theres one where Ponga fumbles, kicks before its a knock on and fletch then does a sweet chip and chase over the line. Also the 97 grand final Darren Albert try was immaculate 👌
For an idea of kangaroo speed there's a youtube short called "Kangaroos Vs Dog Sprint Race"
The light activates as soon as the bail lifts..so it helps with decision making for the umpires
China hated England becuase of the Opium wars
4:26 that's AB's bread and butter shot
If you support trump, don’t bother coming to this great southern land.

You should definitely react to the Emu War video. And congrats on pronouncing 'emu' correctly
Tis you tis it? Didgeridoo. Boomerangs were used for hunting, not for coming back. Europeans colonised China. Did you not hear of the Opium Wars? The Brits were pushers on a major scale. The White Australia policy is alive, well and promoted by supremacists who want to return to it. Why? Because they're miserable human beings, that's why. Gallipoli in the Dardenelles south of Istanbul was a formative battle for the nation. ANZACS. Get used to that name. Australians were the first to stop Japanese land forces. In New Guinea at Kokoda Trail and Milne Bay...
It is only a batters game, There is no balance between bat and ball... It is always bat vs bat .... But it is better than baseball And i love it!!
Notice how Amla had 152 but poor dude didnt even get mentioned!!
I live within view of Sydney from my house on the lower slopes of the Blue Mountains (Silverdale google Warragamba Dam), if I drive a about a minute down the road we have the catchment area for Sydney's main water supply. Towards dusk the grassy area near the fence is covered with the eastern grey kangaroos. A few weeks back I was doing my usual Sunday 160km (100 mile) trip to a club I go to, and was driving down a fairly busy road, at around 6am when I picked up two kangaroos in my head lights bounding down the road towards me. I jumped on the brakes and was down to a couple of km's (1 mph) one roo went past my drivers door and the other just hopped straight into the front of my 4wd. It went underneath my vehicle but I didn't see it come out from underneath my vehicle . I pulled over to see if it was under my ute but to my surprise it was on the other side of the road with its mate. Animal strikes are a major issue when traveling in Australia, I have what is called a 'Bull Bar' fitted to my vehicle, it gives protection to the front from animal strikes. There was a call a few years ago to have them banned from vehicles in metropolitan areas. Due to a plentiful water supply and more grazing (peoples lawns) the roo's are now getting closer to urban areas.
if you want to see a really good UA-cam series of Australia, check out the One Pack Wanderers' channel. They are a young couple from Sedona, AZ., who bought a second-hand Mazda 323 in Perth (Western Australia) and travelled across the Nullarbour Plain to Adelaide, then Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Darwin, Alice Springs and returned to Perth, where they sold the 323 and left Australia. They returned to Australia later and Mazda gave them(!) a BT50 SUV to do a reverse trip (this time including northern Western Australia) and including Tasmania. Certainly the best UA-cam video series I have seen.
He plays exceptionally better on pink day (fundraising match Breast Cancer Awareness). I doubt SA has ever lost a match on pink day.
Broome WA is another place to look at.
Watch a fight from the early 1980’s in league.. You be amazed how the rules have changed to what would result these days, in respect to red cards and suspensions. ua-cam.com/video/a1Gjbd9bxVg/v-deo.htmlsi=QyJCqY3Asw-so-GZ
You can’t compare the players today with those in Bird’s era. The game was a lot rougher when Bird played. It was almost like hockey! Bird won the first 3 All-Star 3 point contests! That mix tape showed him making passes and baskets. What it didn’t show was all the rebounds he got. Not because he was the best jumper, but because he was the smartest player on the court. He could see where the ball was going, and if it was going to miss, where it would go! He was always in the right spot, at the right time, and knew where everyone was on the court.
I prefer rugby league, pre-season games happening now.
Consider the contest for the ball. In Union every play is a contest for the ball. In league you have six chances to attempt to score. Can't explain why you must roll the ball back with your foot, but if you watch a game there are many times players have a brain fade and just roll it back. Referees have blind eyes in thi game.
Slow? Slower than your so called footbal
The British ( and other European empires and the USA ) all invaded China on multiple occasions in the C19th. Not so much to settle but to force open trade links. The major British product exported to China in the early/mid C19th was opium !
No 10 is 120 kgs bro
9:29 you really need to brush up on your ww1 history, caus Turkey being involved is pretty basic
Turkish were porforming genecide on Armenians and yet you thank Australians? Who were also performing Genecide on group of people while simultaneously using them in the war? My grandad was promised to get land when he returned home from the war but nothing. He was still treated like an animal literally written into law and denied land, having to work to provide he’s family and deal with the PTSD. You as an Armanian thanking any kind of group commuting genocide is strange. That’s like aboriginal people thanking Turkish people if Turkish people came and helped Aboriginal people from being genocided like thanks for stopping our deaths I guess but what about all the deaths and culture your killing in you own land? They never went to help anyone. They’re were filed by stupidity. No real humans craves war. Humans mistake was thinking manipulating the world and matter around us to serve us was a better option then living in harmony and in peace with nature. We are a part of nature and white men made a mistake by thinking we as a species need to rise above all other animal. This resulted in Greed which in turn will result in a quick death for the world. We slave ourselves away letting our time get monopolised by systems in place to milk us for our time and energy in order for a smaller group to have as much time and money as they want. In a natural world, everyone would have to work just as much as the other person, living off nature is fullfing and actually how life is meant to be left. Mental health and all these other modern problems are nonsensical. Our problems should be whether or not we farmed abouts berrys and fruit not working 40 hours a week doing things you don’t want to do. We are stuck in this modern world now. Yes we have modern amenities and Tech but was all of that stuff worth it if we are sacrificing our happiness, instincts and intrinsic value for some money? Oh what a dream to life a happy life providing for myself with my only struggle being whether I should catch one or two fish for dinner. The satisfaction of providing for yourself and living with Mother Earth instead of killing her. God is all around us and instead of being with god we idealise false gods in the sky. And ever since god was made up we’ve been looking up ever since. We were once grounded good beings but since lifting our heads up we became greedy. Look down at the god beneath your feet and be grateful it provides everything you’d ever need. Instead of being with the god with us we look up and imagine god being elsewhere when he is literally the world you life on.
Im an American that moved to Penrith so I kinda lucked into the local team being in the middle of such a successful run. The game day experience is amazing. Nothing beats going to a Panthers game.
You should watch "Jamie Elliot's" Highlight reel from "Collingwood Football Club (The Magpies)", specially the "Anzac Day Mark, and after the siren goal v Essendon.
Canberra was designed by the American architect, Walter Burleigh Griffin. A feature in the original city is… lots, and lots of roundabouts!
The Governor General’s home Yarralumla is known for having lots of Kangaroos on their lawn.
You said whats that number 10 doing out there i am a aussie born and bred mate and have play rugby league and union and gridion as it is called here not NFL they like a lot of different sports your number is the position you play i wore number 10 so that position is prop or front row so I played dt or rg
Please do a reaction video of pakistan vs usa cricket
Look up the opium wars. Britain was brutal to China
