There is no option of video recording in X2D no..??
@@vedangjadhav3036 you are correct. I shot the video on other devices. Only the photos are X2D
Ever seen any jets fly through notch peak?
Amazing video!
Really beautiful, thank you.
Beautiful images, Hasselblad colours are exceptional
stay safe bro beautiful shots this is my dream camera!
Sold my X2D a month ago and bought Leica SL3 - Hope it is not a mistake, lol
@@lighthunteralp never shot with Leica but I’ve heard great things
Misleading statement, saying you’re alone, but somebody had to take the video of you right
@@b.peppercorn739 haha, that’s my autonomous Skydio drone doing the video. But I definitely understand the skepticism.
Amazing. Thank you.
Beautiful. Hope the place stays isolated.
Excellent
Bro, that's really cool, I really appreciate your hard work 🥺
Beautiful place, beautiful work. 🙏
Beauty right out of the box
What a fabulous location and devine light, almost spiritual ! Beautiful 👏✊🏻
XCD 90 or XCD 90V ?
I just have the old 90
@@cbphoto87 'just' 😄 Great work, sir! Beautiful.
❤
Amazing location. Gorgeous footage and images! Nice work, Chase.
nice one man! that view behind you at 5:49 was worth all the effort
How’d you shoot this?
Shot it on an 800mm lens in Timelapse mode. I use an app called TPE 3D to plan out where the moon is going to rise and where to shoot it from
This is a great vid man. Been wanting to hit this trail for a while 🤙 those shots throughout came out amazing
Super underrated trail for how little traffic it gets. Great this time of year when it’s still too early to get up higher in the canyons
Spectecular.
Absolutely breathtaking!
what an awesome experience. great work!
Congrats on your choice of the Hasselblad X2D, wonderful images from the X2D.The X2D will be my next camera.
please make Videos horizontal 😂
Lol I agree with you. Vertical footage wasn’t originally intended for UA-cam (shot for Instagram) but still wanted to get my initial thoughts on the camera on here after the fact. But yes I agree vertical videos should be a crime
@@cbphoto87 sorry mate didnt want to criticize you 😅 good video btw. i plan to expand my equipment of Leicas with this beauty... so i am curious what people say... Well done
what lens did you use for the shot?
Most of these shots were the XCD 21mm. A couple of them were the 45p
Great job and great photo!
No bears and wolves at 1:33 ?
Aren't there any bears there? How can you protect yourself if you encounter a bear?
Black bears. Not very common though and generally not a threat. I only worry about bears in grizzly country.
What is the L bracket you set up on your x2d ?
I got the Really Right Stuff one. More pricey than I’d like but it fits perfectly and allows good access to the battery. I worry the universal ones would give you issues with access.
Poor answer to the question, sadly
Great work Chase! That X2D is beautiful, but when I was looking for MF I ended up going with the 50s II at 25% of the cost. I did the same analysis on focal lengths used and realized that the 20-35 and 45-100 would cover 80% of my most used FLs. I’ll probably never get rid of my 5dsr though because of the ability to go from 11-600mm. That first image of dream lake is a stunner! Great inspiration to get up there
Yeah there are definitely more cost effective ways to get into MF. I have a friend with your same camera and he’s getting awesome results. Hard to go wrong with the upgrade in sensor size!
Someday I will visit and I'll make sure to pack my Fujifilm 100s for some spectacular photography.
The back to real life part is always tough. Great shots and tones from the X2D.
Thanks for making this video, Chase. Keep it up, mate.
Great images. That extra work and exertion paid off.
Amazing Kamera and amazing video keep going
nice video keep going!!!
Great video and conditions in the mountain 👍❄️
You are going to love it. I have one and it is a wonderful camera, color and IQ will fry your mind.
Already loving it. Taking it on a weekend of hiking in Rocky Mountain NP this weekend
I aspire to be you. I'm gonna make one just like this in 2 weeks.
Great video love the shot at 44 second mark. Keep up the hard work.
Epic footage, love the shots
Awesome, clicked all the buttons for you. Beautiful area.👍
Much appreciated!
Cool video! Not sure why it was on my recommendations though 😆
How far into notch peak can you actually drive until you have to start hiking?
It ends up being an 8 mile round trip hike if you drive all the way to the trailhead. You’ll want something high clearance to get there since there are some sections that might be tough for a sedan. There is an alternate route where you can drive up to the base of Pine Peak to the north where you start at a higher elevation but that requires more heavy duty off roading and off-trail hiking along the cliffs to the north of Notch that I’m not sure I’d recommend
@@cbphoto87 thanks for the response brother. I ask because I’m a drone pilot but not much of a hiker lol and was wondering if there are roads that I can get as high as I can for signal and range purposes.
@@cal8016 you might want to look into the road to Pine Peak if you have a vehicle that can manage it. I’ve never been that way but I’ve seen a couple UA-cam vids of people who did.
@@cbphoto87 I def will thanks for recommending that! I’m an fpv type of pilot and I’ve always want to surf these mountains. Your drone shots are legit tho too man! 🔥 nice work
😅 ᑭᖇOᗰOᔕᗰ
fellow. How’s everything going?- you upploaded great done. =)
Thats a scenic drive and a nice looking trail 😁 views looked amazing.
lowkey stalking you. I absolutely love this kind of content man. i kind of want to move back north after seeing these vids
