Psycho zaku may have been a work of art for Darrel, however after his suit got destroyed along with the armored gundam he realized that later on he no longer has the ability to ever pilot a normal mobile suit ever again. Such a double-edged sword in the end.
Fact is he is stuck with Psycho Zaku (now had a new form) and Io always in new suit despite having more technologically advanced suit.
Right here is why Zeon literally lost to Earth Federation because 1 guy didnt listen to orders and their mobile suit development lagged behind.
Only for the Origin timeline. In the main UC timeline, he died in 0080, some time after the end of the One Year War.
God this series is almost nothing but Zeon-wank, isn't it? We've got cool-looking Guncannons rolling out, but they're only there to get mulched and almost literally emasculated.
In the Origin timeline, these are basically prototype Guncannons (RCX-76). Not the same one as the RX-77-2 Guncannon from the main UC timeline. Considering that the Bugu and Zaku I's machine gun ammo could penetrate the RCX-76's armor, the latter does not have the luna titanium armor that the RX-77 has.
@@Tadoka_Inamo The lack of advanced armor is one thing, but the Guncannons here barely put up a fight. They all but tuck their heads between their knees and cower behind cover. They barely put up a fight despite being on relatively even footing.
@@Will_Negs Poor pilot training. The Federation gradually starts getting the upper hand after Amuro's sorties in the Gundam, thanks to the combat data gleaned from its learning computer.
Like its a cool fight. But a waiste of screen time in all honesty. Like at no point was there even a point to thsi scene. Was one sided from start to finish

I agree. The Full Armor Gundam is death incarnate. Even though the psycho zaku is one hell of a MS, it’s no match.
