Black Belt Promotion Test Kicks
Here is a little mashup of the tests that are apart of our 2024 End of Year Promotion Test.
We have incorporated these kicks throughout our training in 2024 and have had a variety of them over our years of training. Each year we keep some, adjust other or introduce entirely new ones to challenge our students and ensure they learn something new each year, while also perfecting techniques from the past.
We also hope that this video can used as reference by our testing students to see simple reminders on how to develop the techniques.
Hope you enjoy the kicks, sounds and step breakdowns!

I can relate I just finished my white belt to yellow belt I was so nervous but excited at the same time I love your videos they really help me
Nice break Tanish!
plz dont drop your hands when you kick, especailly at this level , its odd
❤❤❤
They are not even doing stance correct 😢 5:49
I have so many questions about this but I will refrain
Really???!! Black belt grading??? Board breaking was pitiful. No intensity. Move like beginners, delusional thinking this is dan grade….
It's easier to poke holes in an idea than think of ways to fill them. And it's easier to focus on the 100 reasons you shouldn't do something rather than the one reason you should. "Wendy Kopp" thanks for your support - be sure to subscribe for more gradings :)
I’m in this school I’m looking for wakakiri 2023😢
Imagine these guys thinking they can fight in the real world 😂. They will be killed with one punch
That is not a black belt... I could do better within a month of starting martial arts and only at white belt... i guess different schools have drastically different standards
I was just curious they all passed but some received a brand new belt but others did not?
Great question. There are several reasons for a new belt. A 1st Poom ( under age) will go from a Red/Black Belt to a full Black, whereas some out grow their old belt and request a new Belt while others take the option of simply obtaining an additional Belt and some want to keep their original. Hope that answers your question. Thank you
I appreciate 🙏it. Much lov ❤ from Kenya 🇰🇪
I proud of wyome Patel Indian
He is not 6th Dan black belt he is more like green belt
I saw Steven Seagal
These are baby kicks, not black belt kicks
nice
I hope you mean that in the truest sense of the word, that I will agree with.
It’s good to be back training at TKD after 35 years. I started at 12 back in 1982, went on to the military at 17 and life… I got back into the art back in 2022 at the age of 52. I was and still battle with depression partly due to my military experience and such but, since I’ve started training again my mental health and spiritual health have improved dramatically! I am currently a red belt and will be testing for my stripe in a couple months.🙏🏽
We are pleased to hear that Training has a positive affect on your life. Keep chasing your goals and reach for the stars, you will be unstoppable.
I tried to go back after 37 years as a red belt and they told me I would need to start over because was gone too long. It doesn't make sense since I spent 4 years going through all the tests to make it there so I put in my time. So I'll probably move onto something else now. Such as life I guess.
@@Bob-uz4ov that is strange that they’d not let you start back at your rank. I stopped as a green belt with one stripe back in 87… I started back as a white belt for an assessment week but after a couple of days I was given my green belt. I did however start back at my original Dojang from the 80’s and my Grand Master remembered me since I got back in touch back in 2007. Did you start at a new Dojang??
@@raven69600 yeah, the Grandmaster was even an assistant to my old instructor in my old school. Same style with same forms with some modifications. It's a mixed class where everyone pairs off so I don't really understand the issue. I would be okay taking longer to get up to speed. I would be in no hurry for black since I passed it up the first time many years ago. He recalled my old instructor and all my certificates were signed by his Grandmaster. He just said the gap of time was too long. It sounded like it had something to do with not remembering the forms being that long. But I did pay my dues to be at the rank I'm at and I'm disappointed that wasn't considered more. I certainly don't remember what I did. But I still have the abilities - though a bit rusty in some aspects.
@@Bob-uz4ov that is unfortunate. The new person in charge seems to have a closed mind when it comes to a persons abilities… I’d train in another discipline in the meantime to add another tool to your arsenal… that’s what I’ve done over the years.
Its not even Taekwondo xD
Thanks for the Grading Video, Well Done. 👍 The One Step Sparring is Too Fast, Couldn't See Much. Thanks for the Lessons, Respect! 🔥
Good training
Chonji Tul? Do you guys teach all 3 at your school? Palgwe Taeguk and Chang Hon forms?
Yes, we mainly focus on both Palgwe & Taegeuk but also touch on Hon Forms. I appreciate that you noticed. Thanks for your feedback.
@@powerwithpurposetaekwondos752 it's interesting because most WT sanctioned or Kukkiwon accredited schools teach Taeguk poomsae exclusively and maybe Palgwe as supplementary but don't dabble in Chang Hon. Did your Dojang start as an ITF school through say the Oh Duk Kwan then transitioned to the WT / kukkiwon? I respect schools that take the time to learn or at least appreciate the other styles of TKD such as the ITF or the ATA even though they are aligned to the kukkiwon. A lot of Politics in today's TKD.
Nice. Thank you for uploading. I love wstching traditional classes and grading
Not to be disrespectful but the belts are tied so scruffily.. for a grading???? The man is kicking with his toes?
No
my school yay i was in like year 1 or 2 during this, we havent had a carnival ever since then bc of covid, i hope we can do it in 2023
Well done. You all worked well
Why there’s no white belts in fault
Thanks for your question. We run a marking system where the average is "C" and "B" above and "D" below average. "A" is exertional whereas an "F" fails. They need 3 "F's" to fail the entire test. Their success and faults are recorded and sent to them after the grading . They can then approach their assessor to see how to improve their techniques.
Why don’t white belts fight yellow belts
Thanks for the question. Our gradings always run in belt group and we try to match the same belt levels. However, if we have and adult or teenager we will then get someone of equivalent size. Even a Black belt if needed.
Does black belt fight white belt
Thanks for the question. In regular training yes , all belts will move from student to student
Huh ? 2nd and 3rd Dan' grading...????? Dang, not one person in this would've even passed (or even made it through) a brown belt, 2 day grading in Korea. Just wow. Talk about watering down a martial art & making a mockery of what tkd is & it's actual roots as an art. We have yellow & green belts that would embarrass these instructors. Just wow ! What happened ? & how are you even allowed to dilute the system so much ?, it's embarrassing to state the least. Just being honest. You should start being honest with your students, because clearly you haven't been so far. So delusional. Just wow !
Yup
El mejor video por partes gracias

Very nice drill. Glad I found it.

As a grandparent living in another state and not seeing my grandson in person for over 2 years, it was lovely to be able to watch Blake and all the other students in action. I also love the discipline which is being taught to the participants of the the sport.
