Pushing over a big old oak tree
Переглядів 684 роки тому
We had Mr. Allen come out with his backhoe and chainsaw to remove the big rotting oak tree from out back yard. It was really cool to see how he cut into the tree so it would fall in the proper direction. We then examined the tree and found some huge grub worms living inside! I rescued one that was trapped and put it back into the living part of the tree trunk. We gathered the rest of the wood d...

How To Fix a tire machine with literally TWO QUARTERS???!!!
Переглядів 23 тис.5 років тому
A quick and informal video about how we (Lathe and I) fixed a non working tire machine with literally two quarters! Machine is a Hunter TC3250 and is operated by air only. The issue was when you push either of the front pedals down, it did nothing but hiss air. Pull pedals up and it worked normally. A parts store online suggested that these check valves could be the issue, so that’s what we loo...

Update a year later! Went to 1/8 mile track and had one good pass on the 100 shot (had drag radials and welded rear diff). 8.50 with 1.78 60ft (was cutting out a bit on top end due to low bottle pressure and I had the bottle mounted backwards so that didn’t help). I think with 1000 psi bottle pressure and having bottle pointed right direction lol… it should go low 8’s high 7’s. Will update next time we take it to the track :) Bonus: also putting the 200 pills in to see what it will do. Keep in mind this car is completely stock other than the nitrous kit, aluminum intake and carburetor

So this was the failure of a three port quick exhaust valve? The diaphragm on my air powered Coats rim clamp failed. Coats wants over $400 for a valve. A similar valve can be had for about $40 but the ports are in the wrong spots. It’s easily fixed with about $20 in fittings. Or Some fast exhaust valve manufacturers offer just the Diaphragm, and they are less than $10. I believe Coats valves are made by Deltrol. I was able to use the diaphragm out of a Deltrol EV20A2 to fix my Coats 70xAH-4, but had to buy a whole valve
