So now you have 2 wallets on the ColdCard with Sparrow. One with a passphrase and one without. Wouldn't one word be better from a point of view of remembering instead of writing it down which you could lose? Say a passphrase like the word Pinocchio.

Is it possible to add a passphrase to and existing Coldcard Sparrow wallet?

Does the passphrase have to be from the 12 0r 24 words that you have used for your key or can you use any 39 BIP words or even your own words?

Still unsure if I should go with the 12-words or 24-word version? 12 words fit in smaller space, do not take so long to write down or enter. Is it ok I use some galaxies less of sand ?

Just a small correction, we don't need to guess a particular person's seedphrase. It'll do if I could find a random person's seedphrase of the ~100 million crypto accounts to steal his money. So I guess we can subtract 8 zeroes from the calculation. ...but this does not get us substatially closer.

Good explanation and instruction. But incorrect assumption. NO 'wallet' actually 'stores' millions or billions of dollars. Wallets are only windows into blockchains. Blockchains are where digital currency transactions are actually stored. Wallets just let you 'see' those transactions. Think of them like your regular fiat bank app. You can install the bank app on your cellphone and use it to 'see' your bank account information such as balances, deposits, transfers, payments,... but the app on your cellphone doesn't actually 'hold' any of your fiat currency.

Any chance you could please do a video joint with an exchnage? so the flow chart for buy would be EXCHANGE platform first, then sparrow, then sign on coldcard, and then to sell, the flow chart would be GETTING ADDRESS from EXHANGE, then sparrow, then coldcard, then again EXCHANGE TO SELL and how we can also confirm each step? how do I confirm 100% that my bitcoin is present after buying it, is it just clicking on the transaction history in sparrow? hello, bought a new laptop and installed Sparrow. How do I set up my Sparrow to my new laptop to see my already tranfered to Cold Card BTC? Do I choose "New Wallet", "Open Wallet" or "Import Wallet"?

Really cool feature and well explained! But I think this procedure has a flaw because you don't actually import and keep locally the PGP Signature that signed the manifest file. How can you verify that the Signature file you downloaded from the web hasn't been signed with a tampered Public Key? If the firmware or .dmg file you are checking has been tampered, the hash and the signature could be as well. This seems convenient but, if you don't check the fingerprint of the Public Key with those on his social media, github, etc. (the more, the better), you have no way to be sure. I think it would be more secure to import and check the Public Key, and I see that Sparrow gives also that option. What do you think? Anyway, thanks for the vídeo, dude!
