I was a daycare teacher we did Family Style Dining so I had to be aware of children's allergies I had to check with our cook (she was great at providing allergy free foods so it was never an issue) and constantly look at ingredients to make sure formulas hadn't been changed. I am now a mother myself so I'm always checking my daughter's formula to make sure it hasn't been changed she has to have the lavender colored Similac it took changeing her formula three times to find out this one works best. Unfortunately I believe she has inherited my dairy allergy, I am not lactose intolerant. I have a allergy to the long strand A1 casein protein. For anyone wondering in dairy products there are proteins called casein proteins that you can be allergic to without being lactose intolerant. m Making most types of cheese and Dairy that is baked into something okay to consume if the allergy is only mild. I never had this allergy issue growing up, rather it became a repeat exposure allergy as I got older and became an issue after I turned 19. Most people who are mildly allergic to the A1 casein protein are not allergic to the A2 casein protein found in goat and sheep's milk which they do sell in the United States at certain grocery stores. Meaning you can still enjoy Dairy and yogurt without having an allergic reaction. Whenever mine becomes an issue and flares up I switch to plant-based and goat milk products until the flare up resolves itself.

Heres another story at my daughters elementary school. Horrible teachers, the staff definitely needs to be reconsidered! My daughter went to this school, and a literal kid was bullying her for 3 YEARS. The principal has tried meeting with the opposing kid, yet they have not stopped. One day, he threw a literal dirty orange in my daughter's lunch, which I had spent a lot of money and time making for her. When she was yelling at the other child for throwing things in her lunch, the teacher (instead of helping her) literally yelled at my daughter in front of whole class and called her childish! She proceeded to berate her in front of the whole class whilst defending the other kid who caused problems and decided to throw things in other people's lunch and call her racial slurs. As a member of the South Asian community, my daughter believes the teacher was showing racism, as the other kid (the bully) WHICH SHE WAS DEFENDING, was the same race as the teacher(American/Caucasian). After yelling at my child, my daughter literally started crying in class. What did the teacher do in response? Ignore my daughter and act like she wasn't even there and she didn't just make her cry. I am absolutely horrified with this interaction. Now my daughter no longer goes to this school but I am still baffled with everything that's happened! And the fact that I have tried posting a review before but somehow it got "deleted" really says a lot about this school and ethics.

Dairy is one food group that is actually completely unneeded. You don't even need to really adjust your diet to cut it out unlike other food groups.

I heard most of the story. Basically the op was called in the second to last day. The daughter said she tried to ask a question and the teacher said to leave me alone. So the daughter did. This was back in October. November, December, January, February, March, April and May no one said a thing to op. The daughter was going on ambassador trip to Australia and needed good grades, a letter from the teach and the (wither vice principal or principal) to sign on it saying that she was getting good grades. This was in Jan. The daughter was still going on the trip. The op was mad at the school and her daughter. Op is a teacher of special needs students and says that if someone didn't show up there would be a search if not found 10-15 mins later the police. Then the mention of a child neglect charge was thrown in there. Oh and the daughter did make up for it with night classes and weekend classes. This isn't the exact thing but it is basics. Tldr: Daughter skipped classes for 6 months, no one said a thing to Op. Op is pissed about the situation. Says the next time this happens there will be charges. Yw. The fact the daughter didn't tell you that her teacher hates you shows y'all really don't have alot of trust to begin with and no one noticing shows you should take her out of the school my school noticed when I wasn't in school teachers that I only had for a month if that (because yearly in the year you can get put in other classes) noticed when I didn't show up for a few days

Can you do mine Recently it was are last day of school before hedding if for summer we got an extended break because it was the last day but when I went to class my the h wasent there I wanted 5 min since it was the last day there was karaoke in math so I went there there was no math teachers ether I then wanders the school with about 200 other student they had showed up they day looking for a techer even halt I called my dad he told me to to the office and ask there luckily I forms a member of stag at reception on the way there not a techer though I asked her where the teachers where and she told me ther where at a retirement party in the pastrole corodore where no one had thought to check and told me to return to class and they whould be back shortly in the end they showed up half an hour late and have of the already few students had gone to the park ne’er by or home and teachers dident know why I I sat on my phone for the remaining 20 min of class that we had left then my dad picked me up because because he thought it was stupid

I have a f ton of stories from when I was in elementary school that really pissed off my family. From having teachers physically threaten me to grading wrong answers correct because they didn't feel like teaching properly. Here's the biggest two that still piss me off 1. I had stitches on my hand at the time and the teachers insisted that my scratching (the bandages were itchy) was because I had poison ivy. I told them I couldn't wash my hands because I couldn't get the bandages wet, so they made me use hand sanitizer, including lifting up my bandages and getting hand sanitizer in my stitches wound 2. I kept getting violently ill at school and we didn't know why. I missed so many class days I wasn't allowed out without a doctor's note, so some days I'd come in, very quickly get sick in class, then sent home because they can't have a kid throwing up in class. Turns out it was because they wouldn't let us eat lunch until like 1:30 or 2, and we weren't allowed snacks or drinks in that time so I got severe migraines from dehydration and hunger (I was a weak little kid, and the school got to be almost 100° near summer so I got dehydrated fast) due to the circumstances I was allowed to have snacks, but I often still got sick due to the heat. Having a kid miss over half their days of school due to heat exhaustion and migraines (oh and by the way the nurses refused to believe me because they insisted migraines and fevers were the same thing, and since I didn't have a fever I was lying) was not good, so my dad offered to literally buy the school an air conditioner so I could go to school without getting sick, but they refused and they argued about it for weeks (I didn't know about this until later). Also during one of these classes where I said I was going to throw up the teacher's assistant (who was a wrinkly old hag who I hated) refused to let me leave because she didn't believe me. A few moments later I threw up, and the only reason it wasn't all over the floor is because she gave me a trash can at the last minute. She then proceeded to brag about "always knowing when kids were serious" because she had several kids. Same lady that put hand sanitizer in my stitches. Screw you Mrs. Werts

YTA as a former cashier I’d notice the card and ask her to call her dad for confirmation she’d either get in big trouble or he’d be fine with it, just let it happen if she didn’t get permission she’d be in trouble hopefully
