The Philippines City That No Tourist Knows About
Carcar City, located south of Cebu City, is one of the Philippines' lesser-known spots that tourists hardly travel to. We ventured down here to experience the true Cebuano culture. From the friendly people to the unique foods, Carcar City offers an authentic experience that showcases the heart of Cebu.

I explore the 5-star Dusit Thani hotel on Mactan Island, Cebu. I check out what the hotel has to offer including the large infinity pool, the breakfast buffet and the hotel room. Carcar city is located in the Southern part of the province of Cebu and is well known for having the best Lechon in the country. As a food lover, I made the hour and a half drive to experience this firsthand at two separate restaurants. Lechon is luxury to majority of Filipinos.
Not really, at least, here in Cebu. Lechon (or baboy insasal as most rural Cebuanos call it) is available everyday, especially in Metro Cebu area and other cities all over Cebu. Aside from the most popular lechon chains (e.g. House of Lechon, CnT, Ayers, Rico's Lechon, etc.) there are literally dozens of other lechon chains in Cebu whose stores are even built side by side to each other. Cebu lechon chains operate like regular casual restaurants but 90% of their menu are lechon. In Talisay City, for example, which is one of the two long-time lechon destinations in Cebu (the other is Carcar City) has a lechon park aptly called Talisay Lechon Food Park made up dozens of lechon vendors housed under one roof and offer nothing but lechon. And it's open every single day. You can see it on Mark Wein's vlogs and other famous foreign food vloggers. Carcar City is another lechon destination where dozens of vendors sell lechon every single day, from dawn to dusk.
Welcome to the PHILLIPINES my friend, thats one of my favorites letchon enjoy
Thank you. 🙏 Lechon is tasty
Ooohhhh boy given the Philippine peso, is .06 cents to the American dollar, and you totally got GIPPED for a .37 cent Lumpia you should have easily gotten 9 of those easily. Head out to Nueva Vizcaya Province, or Botolan and eat the real natural Filipino food-with fruits you pick off the tree, and fish straight out of the river. Make good friends with a Filipino (you'll eat free your whole stay) and stop going to the tourist spots- but good on you, thou you probably gave that families child a better education.
yummy lechon 😊
Gud day!

Piso net
this would cost $5 per hour in my country. so cheap in the Philippines!
Great content! Do you have also FB page sir?
Not yet but very soon
You will become ube after that! But that's the dream though, I think I would survive if I have ube flavored food for my whole life😂
hot take: real ube > stuffs with "ube flavoring" Ube "flavor" is nowhere near the taste of actual ube. it's like how orange 'juice' you see in stores never tasted anywhere near real oranges. bro, I promise ya, if you think these abomination of neon-purple pastries are how ube actually tastes like, you're seriously missing out. If you ever find yourself in Baguio, go buy a jar of ube at Good Shepherd
You are very pogi.
