This is by far my favorite OMD song they ever did. This is still a very beautiful song even after 40 years. I even once got a real Teligraph message sent to me back in the mid 80's. Thank you.

why they no sing that song in concert
Unfortunately, it wasn't a big hit for them and only got to No54 in the UK charts in November 1986. Presumably, OMD will only play their biggest hits in their concerts, 'Live' favourites, as well as any new material they have in order to promote their most recent album projects.

OMD was THE SHEE-ITE! They came out in 80 right before Depeche Mode with MESSAGES. Following in the footsteps of TELEVISION and KRAFTWERK, they pretty much carved out a nice name for themselves with hits like SECRET and SO IN LOVE. Followed by the music they did for PRETTY IN PINK (1986). Not too shabby, eh? Cementing themselves forever in the annals of New Wave muzik.
Their debut single was actually called 'Electricity', which was released in 1978 on the UK independent label Factory Records. While it failed it hit the charts, it has instead become a much loved cult classic ever since. I recommend that you give it a listen on UA-cam. I'm sure you'll love it just as much as I do. That song is also included on each of their Greatest Hits compilations, which are: 'The Best Of' (1988), 'The OMD Singles' (1998), 'Messages: The Greatest Hits' (2008) and 'Souvenir: The Singles Collection' (2019). However, their first Top 20 chart hit 'Messages' wasn't released until two years later. That's another great track from them. OMD have put out lots of great singles and albums throughout their stellar forty five year career.

For those of you who don't know, there really *is* a music group named Hybrid. They were known for their Finished Symphony in 1998, as well as for their remixes of Albion (Ferry Corsten)'s Air and Future Sound Of London's Papua New Guinea, etc.
