I had such a crush on him❤
Puffing on a cigarette, on tv . Good times, free times( compared to now) . 😂😂
I reckon good old Bri was still having rumpy pumpy at this age. His wifes a fair looking lass here. Hope they are still together and very happy. Always enjoyed his stuff he was in.
This is your life, hmmm biggy back time to bed!
I remember this!
Loved John and Are you being served cast.
I miss watching John Inman. He was my favorite on Are You Being Served.
It's a shame they didn't have Nicholas Bond-Owen (Tristram) appear, always loved their wee roles together in George & Mildred.
This was lovely.
Me acuerdo que vino a españa a hacer publicidad la mantequilla natacha que tiempos más buenos un saludo martin heredia ruiz
Loved the show and john Inman I wish I could have met him
Robbie Hagberg you're welcome to come over and get it done before you leave me alone I can go to the store and get it done before you leave me alone I can go to the store and get it done before you leave the house and the house and the door is open and the door is open and I will be there in a few days and I will be there
Ah those were the days when you could smoke anywhere 😂
I have acquired an annotated script/screenplay for this dated April 1968.
Great actor!
Loved himin r u being servedx
Loved george and mildred❤
Back in the early 70s as a teenager I worked as a nanny in Hampstead for another celeb. Over Christmas we went to a Boxing Day party at Brian's house. He was a lovely man and it was a lovely afternoon. I have this memory of an old-fashioned sing-song and the piano player was the divine Nick Brimble (Grantchester, among other great TV shows). At the time I remember wishing I worked for Brian and his then missus Carol!
He was also starred in Take a letter Mr. Jones. I wish Frank Thorton and Trevor Bannister was there.
What a gem of a man…not a dry eye here when the foster children came on stage….💞
Just beautiful…..and seeing people like Ruby Keeler , Ginger , Caesar , All whom I have known off through my love all the movies . Now here in 2024 .
love watching him on Are you being served........whats with all the comb overs from the men 😮
The fashion of the day.
Wizadora great show and George and Mildred 👏🏾👏🏾
Brian is brilliant 😊
Still smoking a fag lol 😂
Roy Castle made a complete fool of himself and spoilt John's big night. Why did he ever think that was an appropriate thing to do?? He clearly upset many people!!
I must agree. I never 'got' what a lot of people saw in Roy Castle. Always been as an 'all-round' entertainer, well there were so many things he was terrible at so I suppose he qualifies. Most of the times I saw him on-screen I just saw a pain in the backside. He even ruined a Morecambe and Wise 'Two Of A Kind' show in the 60s by appearing on it throughout, but I believe he was related to Eric.
@stephenguppy7882 I agree very much Stephen it always had to be about him really but when when your antics completely over shadow someone else's big night like he did here I think he should have known better. The 2 people who were very upset at the end of the show was John's mum and Danny La Rue .
@@UXB-p5u 😊👍
Wow this takes me way back the Dan dares and nobody can forget the hair a certainly more car free erra.i just sat and watched reruns of dick turpen😅😅😊
He jew with drinks in George miltride 😢
Back in the days before two stupid kisses became fashionable 😊
This man! Wow. Seriously underrated, barely mentioned (GAY-outright, proud-in the 70's from day 1) actor who touched MANY, MANY English and, believe it or not, many Americans also. I am in my 7th decade of life and as a <10 year old I remember plainly saying "Even for a _____*, he is a damn funny man"! * - do not remember his exact word(s), but wasn't derogatory. It was like more of a matter of fact description of this great comical acter!!! And we continued watching the show. Saw no people bashing, carrying signs and yelling bad slurs!! Just down right an actor with words and actions, make millions in many countries laugh and laugh! Sorry, just ran across this on YT and the memory came back. Of course, I already knew about myself-dont know if my father did-and the weight of those few, nonchalant, words would mean. 😊😂❤
Slightly uncomfortable seeing current wife hanging onto his hand so demandingly
Watching this in August 24 and he’s 91 years old now
Just named my kittens george and mildred...
2024 still going strong. Legend.
26.25, did he just call poor robin a penis?
We also now have freaks in the world
Fed up seeing the hide and seek wallet . I am
The days when they could smoke on TV.
Loved him in are you being served?
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
8:01 fuk me that's a comb over and a half 😂
What about Mr Thornton? He is not among the guests….
I wonder where Mr Lucas was aka Trevor Bannister who played him
What a thoroughly decent bloke
I'd forgotten how great this show was-! So touching & lovely while being entertaining; I can't help smiling while watching it, tho' I also wonder if some 'victims' disliked the surprise, at the same time it must have been a 'badge of honour' to be chosen. & it wasn't originally only 'celebs', it also inc less famous people who'd done extraordinary things; nurses, life-boat crew, charity workers.
Passive aggression 3:01
🤔 He comes across as a tad smug.
Out of all the characters in AYBS, I hated him the most.
I loved the old comedies . These are missing . I loved them all. There was much to laugh about and look forward to the nights they were on the TV.🇬🇧
I’m surprised at how much the young Prunella Scales resembled Stephanie Beacham.
