Here is a little run down in the day of an ultra running event photographer, it was a lovely but very hot day / event . I was happy with the shots and shot locations and great to bump into a few friends on the course.

Fallout 2023 , another Beyond Marathon masterclass.

The premise is an escape from a nuclear fallout event in Oxfordshire. You have two get 40 miles away as the crow flies in 12 hours before being evaporated. Then it is last man standing, I came 6th overall and was very happy with that ! It was a great event and a lovely day / night hitting the main sights in London.

Escape from Meriden 2021, an 87 mile escape to Cambridge.

This video is my experience of the 2021 escape from Meriden. Or more pointedly a descent into delirium. This is a great event where the idea is to start at Meriden , the centre of England and you have 24 hours to run away as far as possible in any direction you choose. Medals are awarded at 30 , 60 and 90 miles (as the crow flies) so realistically 33, 68 , 104 miles for silver, gold and Black a...

As covid scuppered the Wooler trail marathon it was decided to be run virtually this year. I kept it as authentic as possible and while the elevation was slightly lower i added 1.5 extra miles and carried an extra 2kg in food and water as it was unsupported. Amazing job! Congratulations on such an epically challenging route! Nice video too. I actually did this same race but the mini 45 miler lol. It was my first ultra, I posted a video of it I don’t think I can see you in it though!
Well done on the 45 , to be fair the first 45 miles is the killer part of this race. I was very happy to get to Wooler for a re charge :-) .I will check out your video.

Singing must be a family trait. I was roaring out my unofficial choice of Meriden anthem 'Long Hard Times To Come' along Biddulph Way. With a lot of vigour when I was rerunning the miles I had backtracked on! Love the video bro.
