It's the sequel to Ocarina Of Time.
Advice on your audio. Lower the game volume at segments where you're talking
Great video but highly recommend lower the volume of the music/sound effects next time. Not sure if it’s just me, but I found it distractingly loud and had trouble focusing on what you were saying. Can’t wait to see your future content!
Awesome video! Seriously I really enjoyed watching and listening, very well written/recorded/edited. I’m surprised you don’t have more subs! I love this game and I might just have to go replay it now again :)
Thank you so much, glad you enjoyed it!
Great video!
Thank you!
Ooooo this is a gem of a channel i just found
This video was exactly what I was thought it'd be. A very well made concise tribute to a great game
shouldn’t the title be ‘waking’ something something related (or similar) i liked how your ocarina and majora videos incorporated ‘time’ and ‘mm’ into their respective titles.
I tried to keep to the same convention, but nothing was coming to me so I just decided to make the first word in every title how I feel about the game.
Don't know if this is covered in the video at all, but the fact that the cel shaded aesthetic of this game is arguably being used as a base for the current and most popular art direction for the series puts a smile on my face. Just the fact that we've seemingly gotten past the "cartoon = bad" phase in our culture.
at the beginning you say youre not a fan of the dark style, then you say you love the dark style.
As a kid I wasn’t a fan, but grew to love it as I got older
this guy sounds like a blue mary main
also tingle was the realest hustler. chase a bag hoe, pay up those rupees
Wind Waker has always been such a "I really want to play this, but can't play it" title for me. Since my parents did not indulge me in my hobby beyond gifting me my GameBoy Color for my bday and a few games for it over the following years, I either had to buy new consoles/handhelds myself or rely on a friend to play many a game. Including Wind Waker. Which I never got far in as a result. But I absolutely love watching speedruns and have been waiting for that Switch port since forever.
Wind Waker was the first Zelda game that caught my interest as well, also cuz I liked how toon link looked in Brawl, but I never tried the games until my Mum got me a copy for Xmas after I watched the chuggaaconroy series on it.
Great video. I personally consider wind waker to be the best zelda game despite it's flaws. I love the visuals, dungeons, music, story, and characters. And it doesn't even crack my top 5 in the series. Such a phenomenal game. Except tingle. Having to collect 3184 rupees to decipher some charts you found in the overworld is annoying at times, even if it solves half of the "too much money, nothing to spend it on" issue that plagues most Zelda games. Have a good day, and I look forward to more from you. Edit: I just remembered you had the forest boss being one shotted by the magic springwater. That's always fun to do. He just hates being hydrated, smh.😐
Made me sit through 26min of Wind Waker. gigaCHAD
HE’S BACK!!! Looking forward to the Twilight Princess essay!
Bro youtube actually is pushing good videos lets go!! Today is a good day
i love windwaker, its great to see more people look back into it after BOTW/TOTK and realize how much impact it had on the series
Sorry for the wait on this one, everyone! I hope you all enjoy it nonetheless, I tried to do a few things differently for this video like injecting a little of my personality and keeping in mind all of the feedback from the last two videos. Please let me know what you all think, constructive criticism is welcomed!
I’ll be completely honest, I am not a fan of the text you used for this video’s thumbnail. The text you used for OoT and Majora’s stood out way better and I think helped getting more people to click. This, not so much and from personal experience, thumbnail makeovers can work wonders.
Gotcha, luckily thumbnails can be changed so I’ll update it when I get back to my computer from over the weekend.
my favorite game of all time 🙏
i can't help shake the idea, that in OoT, Zelda and Link caused the very thing they were trying to prevent.
Best atmosphere in any game this game its a masterpiece
Change that pfp bro the creator has to go
One of my TOP quotations from the game that each Zelda gamer should take at heart: "The right thing... what is it? I wonder... if you do the right thing... does it make... everybody... happy?" -Lunar Child with Twinmold's Mask and: "Let's play something else. Let's play good guys against bad guys. Are you ready? You're the bad guy. And when you're bad, you just run. That's fine, right?" -Lunar Child with Majora's Mask / The game teaches us empathy and transcends us beyond "good vs evil"
Every play through keeps me entertained to play again and again. Just the perfect built game still the GOAT
Ofc.
i didn't immediately pick up on the accent so i heard "majora's mosque"
"Majora's Mosque."
1 of my favourite zelda games frr 👀👹
Better than Ocarina
great video chillz
Majora's Mask was genius, and a highly underrated game for its time!
This has always been my favorite ever since it came out, at the time all I heard from every other person who played it was "it's so dumb, only 3 days and you lose your progress in dungeons" but I loved it and it's darker themes, it felt more impactful or urgent, something I can't really say I felt in OoT, everytime I play through the game I HAVE to do the anju/kaife quest line before going into the moon.
Great editing letting the scenes and music from the game play out. Very well made video.
This game made extremely depressed throughout.
Love this channel, can’t wait to see what else you make
A true masterwork, the pinnacle of fiction. By the way, your profile pic is a FAT W - Rurouni Kenshin also peak fiction
This game played a huge part in my childhood thank you for the video!
This was my first Zelda game. I got it from blockbuster in 2000 thinking that this was the big Zelda game everyone was freaking out about. I could never get past the deku palace as I was like 6 years old, but I replayed it ten years later and it ended up becoming maybe my favorite Zelda game. The side quests are so good in particular and I love the surreal dark take using OoT assets. I always want more games to take risks like this one does
Great video! I feel like I'm the exact target audience for this lol. The explanation of basic plot was great for me bc I grew up watching my brother play (different) Zelda games. So I'm unfamiliar with the specifics of each game- fantastic for figuring out which one to try next :)
I hope these videos get the views they deserve for the amount of work you clearly put in.
Another "video essay" where the essayist just says what happens in the game
The saddest part of this game and what gave me the most feeling of redemption was the chicken farmer, I STILL get teary thinking about how sad he felt not getting to see his chicks grow
This was my freaking childhood... 😢 the memories 😢 my friends
majoras mask video i find, youtuber that i subscribe
