Question how on earth if you get the harness to go under the panel on the steering column where the key goes into the

I recommend mounting the catalytic heater on the truck bed wall between the bed and the propane tank. Then I would replace the rubber hose to the propane tank with a short copper tube with an inline adjustable shut off valve to the heater. Then I would seal the cabinet around the propane tank and drill a hole in the bottom of the truck bed in the cabinet so that if there is a leak most of the propane will drain out.
