I'm just curious how many times have you gotten cut with your cutting board moving all over the counter😮 if you put a Dyson or a towel on your board it won't move at all I think you should try it and by the way I like the recipe good recipe

Had extra fresh herbs and some left over chicken stock as well as some Italian sausage and a large leek. When your video came up I was excited, and it didn’t disappoint! Added the potatoes (no celery in the fridge 😢) and added some heavy cream and left over parm. Wow. It was so good I my wife almost fainted. I did sautee the leeks with butter olive oil and a little bit of wine.

Hi! Good luck! You can do it! May I ask what the issue you have when making pie is? Just remember the less you mix it the better it will be. Kneading or over mixing will result in a tougher dough. Also just use enough water so that it holds together. Also make sure you let it cool before cutting into it. It gives the filling a chance to set. The apples you use matter too. Honey crisp and granny smith stay more firm than some other apples so they are my go to for apple pie. If you have any questions just ask and i will try my best to help😀 Have an awesome day and take care.😀☀️

I used to always use lard and always thought lard was the best until i made an all unsalted butter crust...it is so much better. Also it is good if you are using lard it is good to replace some of the lard with butter. It will improve the flavor and texture. This unsalted butter crust is very flaky I hope this recipe works well for you. Also make sure your butter is super cold when adding it to your flour mix. Some people even cool there rolling pin in the fridge. Also using cast iron to cook it in helps the texture too. Good luck!

I have a lovely apple tree in my garden, it produces huge bramley sized cooker eaters (just sweet enough to eat without cooking and adding sugar) the fruit is huge (bigger than a bramley apple) but it doesnt store well, I do what I can with the fruit, stewing it down, freezing it etc etc, also sometimes making cider, or just pressing it to make apple juice, I do make occasional pies, but not as often as I should maybe
