High Winds in Southern Alberta
Переглядів 1505 років тому
On Oct 25, 2019, southern Alberta was buffeted with sustained winds in excess of 100 kilometers per hour. Winds gusted as high as 172 kilometers per hour in some areas near The Foothills. The video cannot convey the intense, constant pressure of the wind on the body, nor can it replicate the small bits of gravel, dirt and wheat chaff that were hitting my face... or the noise.
Homemade Rock Screed
Переглядів 1,9 тис.6 років тому
I dug a small pond and found lots of various sized rocks in the spoils. As I do not have a rock bucket yet, I decided to cobble together a wooden rock screed to separate the rocks from the soil. It took about 4 hours to put this together using some scrap lumber, plywood and 3 railroad ties I had lying around. We had to be kinda careful dumping the soil so that we did not crush the screed with t...
Large Buck Contemplating Jumping The Fence
Переглядів 208 тис.7 років тому
This large buck had been walking the fence line behind our house for over an hour trying to decide if he could jump it. I waited for him to reach the other end of the fence line and then I opened the gates in the fence just down from our house. He walked back this way and found his way through the gates and then on his way. Beautiful animal, and not terribly bothered by my presence.
First Run of My New Skid Steer Snow Plow Blade
Переглядів 55 тис.7 років тому
We got 12" of fresh powdery snowfall just before Christmas, 2017. The accompanying wind caused some pretty large snowdrifts across my 1000' long driveway on my southern Alberta acreage. No better way to test out my new skid steer snow plow blade.

Poor thing 😢
Nah hes just wondering if he left the stove on
Mannnnnn, I watched all that time and it didn't even jump!! 😫 🦌
As they say - "The grass is greener on the other side". Probably what the deer is thinking as it scans the fence several times. Or the deer is thinking maybe I should of lost a little more weight. Deer can jump pretty high, but this fence is just a little bit too much to tackle in this spot. Good video.
whats gooin about pointy boi
1:18 Solving that integration part in mind was a little bit tough 🫎🫎🫎
It's amazing how many human beings think they know what is going on in the head of a deer. Sorry to be the bringer of bad news but deer don't do "math". "Short term memory" is another thing. Deer can somehow remember where all of their favorite food sources are but one of the people commenting here seems to think that they have memory issues. One of the biggest BS comments I have heard in the past is that they are colorblind. Humans will NEVER know if they are colorblind. Just like humans will never know if there is a god. I know for a fact because I was once a deer in a past life and when I was hit by a car I went to deer heaven and I was reincarnated as a UA-cam AI bot... Can you see how absurd all this sounds now? Probably not.
No shot.
Waste of everyone's time.
Worst video on the tube
If it was Rutt season he would've done it.
damn he really put a lot of thought into it...
baby, you have to go back further
To me that's a lot of meat in my freezer
Y
I’ve seen an injured buck jump over a fence that high before. It’s nothing to them if they really wanted to. This guy was thinking too much as there’s no real danger in presence.
' male deer cannot jump over the fence yet
It's interesting watching it analyze different parts of the fence and working things out. However, you can see it clearly decide against it, only to turn and check again. Their short term memory can't be the best. Lol
He just wants freedom.
@@Paul-rf8xs Ya I think that is pretty obvious..
@@dive2drive314 Thank you:)
dumb
It knows the fence has spikes
I mean,YOU forgot...
I obviously forgot the word, CONTEMPLATING in first description.CLICK-BAIT!
I want to get the 86" and was wondering what it's width is overall when fully angles as I need it to fit in my 82" dump trailer.?
Hey 👋
Hi
не с права а с лева
ты чего дибил невидеш что у тебя с права через отвал сыпет на дорогу ????
They look like mythical creatures that belong in a fantasy world.
Thanks humans for putting fences everywhere on earth.
So cute 😊 🌳🪵🌱🍄🍁🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌
This is fucking stupid
Nice to see someone with enough sense to use the shoes when plowing gravel road.
Hi rtta51. Oddly enough... the plow came with no shoes. Plowed 20 ft and decided it wasn't going any further until I added them. I have them set so the blade leaves about an inch of snow behind. Rarely do I see any gravel when I am done.
Lie
So this is just a video of a deer walking around.
So it would seem... He usually does a 20 minute song and dance routine... but today he is just walking around.
Poor thing ,humans have barred their migratory routes every where
He's gonna do the same thing until he reach the end of the fence
A whitetail could have done it easily, but when you run like Pepe Le Pew, I guess it's hard jumping fences.
Humans will wipe out all wild animals
Hmmm i dont know, that's taller than my horns
Looks like the Buck Insurance Buck got kind of lost.
He already lost one testicle on the last fence. He’s not gonna duplicate that mistake.
I think he lost both and looking way to get them back
All I see is a walking steak.
Time to growup.
@@DEEPAKRD74 I am all grown up. Got that way from eating those walking steaks. Delicious mm mm good.
@@mgharvey3657 steak is beef aka cow a deer is venison two diff meats you idiot
That buck would definitely get a pass, not big enough rack but may turn into a decent buck in a yr or 2.
LAME
Ive recently seen som pole vaulting videos... that fence is nothing
looks more like he thinks he's a dog
If the ground was level & there was no snow & the ground was hard enough - he would have made it !
And if the fence was lower and if gravity was less and if he was a leopard.
@@hyzercreek omg
I wonder what they think of fences.
This is a deer. You know it's going to ram into the fence at full speed
thank you for that- the deer could have been severly injured by that jump and jagged top- i wish the fence designers would consider wildlife- thousands of deer and other mammals/birds die from fences every year. particularly barbwire fences!
