先生は往年のスタア、河津清三郎さんですね 声もそうだけどアップになった場面など迫力が凄いです 田崎潤さんと河津清三郎さんが共演する映画でお二人が似ているもんだから こんがらがって頭が大混乱したことがあります

仕込み杖の秘密の秘密？みたいな話のオチが見る側からして想像外の展開は ずいぶん前から娯楽映画の必須要素みたいになっている気もしますが 60年代前半の時代劇ですからね。。クールです

無料の断片動画にこんな事を言うのも野暮ですが 本来の画質と比べれば相当落ちてはいるでしょうけどモノクロの良さは十分伝わってきます シネマスコープ画面の格調高さと相まって勝新＋万里昌代さんの月夜のシーンは万人受けする美しさ この部分はスタジオ内のセット撮りですかね？ 前から大映の裏方さん達の技術やセンスは非常にレベルが高いと思っていましたが 特に陰影を生かした照明等、座頭市シリーズがカラー化された後も素晴らしいです

Love these old b&w films. They go from sloooow to crazy. Zatoichi is great. Though not as hypertensive as Ogami Itto from Wolf and Cub. Suggestion for a future Japanese franchise; Zatoichi vs Godzilla.

I'm fully aware that this is just a movie, but even in movies, it must retain realistic elements. I've watched most of the episodes and throughout the entire movie, I can't help but wonder why a blind man can travel from place to place, more specifically how does he walk precisely on the path without straying from it? Or how does he walk in/out the door without bumping into things? Very enjoyable samurai movie, but most realistic elements are irrational and illogical.

I don't know why I keep on watching knowing how cheesy it is. I mean, just think, a blind swordsman that travels from place to place without getting lost😂😂😂

座頭市シリーズ、この第一作だけは別格の名作。短縮版で見るのは何ともったいないことか

this is my third favorite Zatoichi... the original guy is breathtaking and Beat Takeshi did a stellar job!

So these so called Samurais don't have any honor. Imagine killing a blind guy and boasting about it. Bunch of loosers.

Such a great sight to see in this scene. Wanting no trouble but when needing to display some animosity then do it with utmost capability and precision
