Always respected Pilgrim. In fact one of the 1st single cassette tapes i bought myself was a blue Covered Dance Trance one of Pilgrim. He's bang on about the tunes in old skool raves. Sick of hearing Valley of the shadows, Bombscare, Far out, Pulp Fiction, The License and Lighter type big tunes. I was too young to rave in 93 by about 4 years. But fucking love j tek. 3rd party, jim polo neil vass, All the reinforced/early tom & jerry stuff. Been deep diving into loads of that lately

That's mad cos I've recently become obsessed with "Final Conflict" Tango(rip) and Ratty Remix. 31 fucking years later!!! Its just a rude boy bassline. Ratty is a demon in the mix. I was young in 93-94 13/14 years old. But, I was besotted with Hardcore when i saw the Hit man and her one night at the Eclipse in cov. Always thought Ratty was best when [ i believe] he was off his nut. You could tell he was on one because the mixes were psycho. My favourite Set of his though was a Formation Records rave in Skegness i believe. 96 absolute masterclass in Djing to me. Wicked guy. So integral to the scene as a Dj and Producer.

Anyone who just listens to rave scene cant be a musician...some people do...how can you be a producer if so one dimensional..thats why ratty is a top producer and versatile...

Used to watch Paul at Milwaukees back in the day lovely bloke he would tell me about tunes then his book he put in some graffiti that I was involved with in the 80s

Ratty was a legend. Top DJ but his tracks were savage. Dark hardcore but still crowd pleasing. Good guy as well it seems no ego.

DJ Ratty and his aide kick MC Robbie Dee. Simply the greatest rave technicians ever. Even at 52 years old now, I still listen to their sets nearly every day in the car. Big up ya selves, fellas, and God bless you for the memories. The rave scene = 100% the best days of my life. Schott bomber jacket, Fila boots, Levi 501s, Stussy hat, and a pocket full of pills. Top one, nice one, get sorted!

I seen Easy Groove play a slammin set in Euthenasia at the Dark Arch Neath 94/95 in the but robbie didnt turn up as he missed the train but Ribbzy & Digga were there
