I absolutely loved the movie. Saw it twice and gotta say, in IMAX the colours really popped. I don’t think the desaturation was that bad. It looked much better than the trailers. Also don’t forget, in the Wicked universe the story of “The Wizard of Oz” is very much anti-Elphaba propaganda so it makes sense the colour of Oz in in the “real world” of Oz wouldn’t be quite as OTT as the 1939 movie. Both Cynthia and Ariana deserve Oscars for their performances, as does the costume department.

If you ever saw The School for Good and Evil on Netflix, I definitely think Wicked took notes from it. That movie is low key visually stunning and has a great story

I saw the early preview of this! And what a ride it was. I went into this relatively blind, and came out really pleased! It has the Across the Spiderverse situation going for it where it is an impressive "Part 1," but ill be eagerly waiting to see if they stick the landing. Also nice hair, amen 👀

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off is my main comfort movie. I love it so much and I don’t see myself ever getting bored of it. The first Harry Potter movie is a close second.

My fave Halloween movies for horror has to be The Thing and The Shining. Both are excellent scary movies that I love seeing people's first time reactions to A more comfortable watch? Not a movie, but Over the Garden Wall is such a fun time and is easily one of the best animated shows ever put out. Always worth the binge to relive the thick atmosphere and cryptic adventure Great stuff as always :)

(Talking about Terrifier) The first film had a budget by only $35k! There isn't much story till the end but the kills are oh-so good! Damien in so good at working with the budget he's given.

Me and my Mom saw Terrifier 3 a few days ago at my local regal at night. It was RPX and it's my favorite movie now lol. The kills were so good. It somehow topped the last two imo. What do yall think?

I haven't gotten into Terrifier yet, but I feel like I should soon as a horror fan. The first Smile, while having a lot of great special effects and scares, did disappoint me just by the ending. Mostly just because it did feel like how many other one-off horror movies also end, it just felt a little familiar after a really solid and unique first two acts. Whereas I felt like a more bittersweet ending would have likely stuck with me a lot more than the outright tragedy it ended up being. Where the main character survives, but carries on that "curse" that flares up in the worst moments. But she keeps pushing through, representative of surviving and carrying on trauma despite the "haunting" it can do to you. But that's just my personal feelings on it, at least the monster at the very end looked incredible and the soundtrack was insane. With Smile 2... I thought the concept sounds fun. It sounds like it goes off the rails in the best way, too. And, this is only a non-spoiled prediction, but my guess just based off the premise is that the "curse" fulfills its end on stage and sets up a potentially apocalyptic passing to everyone who sees it. Assuming it can pass to more than one person. It's just fun speculating :P Great video though, and hope you have a happy halloween!
