thank you for sharing your story! stay strong! my son was born with severe otc, and was in the emergency room, blue and shaking from constant seizures, with ammonia level was 24, at age 30 HOURS!! after 3 day dangerous dialysis treatment, we considered liver transplant. at age 6 weeks, he had a liver transplant, and is doing amazing. i am looking for more information about recovery for the damage caused by the high levels of ammonia. its different than any other brain injury, and i wonder if anyone would know more about that.

My story is too long to tell all. Between my mother, myself, my sisters and my daughter, we have had 6 male babies die early on after birth from OTC.
