    My question is, why are you lying to these people? The matrix shampoo and conditioner total results, dried my hair. It dried my hair so much that it looked like I had fried it. It literally looked like I was straightening my hair while it was wet. I definitely wasn’t happy with the results. Just mislead people I guess LOL. Anyways, I recommend LOreal Elvive Total Repair, this really helped to get back my natural curls and it hydrated my hair. Stay woke ladies!

      I remember too when I would get out of the shower after using the matrix total results my hair would smell burned. It was crazy glad I switched out the shampoo & conditioner

    So I bought the Nioxin #5, and I need to say this, DON'T. It has such a strong peppermint scent I feel like I crawled out of an old ladies purse. The conditioner has two different mints in it, peppermint oil extract and menthol. My scalp has that cold fire feeling all over, and didn't go away until it was dry. Plus, you have to be super careful not get it close to your eyes or private bits. I thought it was a good cleansing duo but the smell is too strong. Also, I want to say that horrible noise in this video has to be an editing choice, there's no way you had the same sound continuing throughout your recording. Please don't use that again.

      Hi there! I would say buying any sulfate free shampoo and conditioner that is salon quality. Preferably from the salon section at Ulta or Sephora. If you have really stubborn frizzy and unruly hair, I would say get a frizz fighting and smoothing shampoo and conditioner that is still sulfate free!

    I’ve been using this for years and I personally love it, however I just saw that NYM has had problems with certain ingredients it has. An independent lab testing report from Valisure Nov’22 found that NYM contains over 10 times the recommended amount of benzene.. isobutane and propane which are on the label, May be contaminated with benzene . Did you happen to hear anything about that?

    • @Phebe_Lace
      @Phebe_Lace 4 місяці тому

      Hey idk if you’ve seen by now, but it turns out this was a false alarm and Valisure actually has a history of scaremongering without credible scientific basis-Lab Muffin has a video on them that explains the whole thing. (She’s pretty popular but just in case you haven’t seen her around, she’s a professional cosmetic chemist with a doctorate so she’s pretty credible and she also cites lots of sources that you can look into if you want to verify for yourself)

    My own hair growth progress and success, I stuck to this routine: Take early morning sunlight every day for essential vitamin D. Eat vegetables of various colors. Applying paraben and fragrance free hair shampoo and massaging twice a week with hair oil from litttleextra's cocooonion oil. Imp. to keep in mind that hair growth is influenced by overall well-being as well as circulation and nutrition.

    I had to return a shampoo and conditioner (I can’t remember the brands, they both mentioned natural ingredients, the shampoo had flowers on it and mentioned botanicals) I bought from one of these three stores because it made my entire body itchy after using it! I ended up taking a shower again with my regular products and felt fine after I’m not sure if that was an actual allergy (I have a little history with my skin) or if it was something fishy in the ingredients. Good to know it may have been a potentially fake/expired product that gave me a bad reaction. I thought maybe botanicals (or just the fact it’s natural ingredients) was my issue but I use Herbal Essences, including ones that mentioned botanicals and didn’t have any problems

    • @landydh
      @landydh Рік тому

      Omgosh I’m so sorry to hear you had this experience! I know it sucks to hear that these stores might sell expired or fake products. I know they usually sell for a fair price, but it’s always better to buy them directly from the company or Ulta/Sephora or a beauty supply. Hopefully you were able to find something better for your hair!

    How crazy, just found your channel & I have the exact type of hair and I used that exact ghost prep combo for YEARS but its not hitting the same anymore :( so now I'm looking for a new options. I'm looking at the Maria Nila Cream Heat Spray, I'd appreciate your honest thoughts! Also what do you think of color wow dream coat, is it worth it? I bought it in extra strength and noticed it works better than the original but i don't know if i would repurchase.

I have tried the wow dream coat and I liked it but I always felt like my hair needed more moisture after using it. You should try the matrix sleek shampoo and conditioner! It’s similar to verb ghost shampoo and conditioner. And as far as blow dry product, try the redken frizz dismiss smoothing leave in cream!

    I started using dry shampoo when I moved out and was earning my own money. Before then my mom was against the idea of dry shampoo and refused to buy it for us. I literally only wash my hair once a week. If I go swimming it gets an extra wash day. Reason why is because I have a very dry and itchy scalp. Also I tend to lose a lot of hair each time I wash it too. I use the brand Not Your Mothers when it comes to dry shampoo. I just got the new overnight one from their line I’m excited to try it.

    Yes!! I agree 100% the same is for Amazon. If it’s not from the supplier, you don’t know who it’s coming from. I have a friend who worked in a tanning salon, bought tanning lotion from a third-party company that wasn’t directly from the company itself or from a beauty supply store and it ended up just being straight up lotion. 😬😬 If you’re going to spend money on your hair, you should spend extra on the products that will take care of your hair

    Thank you for your helpful videos! I've been binge watching hair care videos because I've neglected my hair for years! I enjoyed your heat protectant video and will most likely get the Biolage one. So far, I think many you tube hair experts are exciting viewers and inspiring them to take better care of their hair, but then suggesting extremely expensive products which kinda turns us off to the whole thing. I can't afford a lamborghini, so why would I want to watch videos telling me that it's the only good car out there and then IF there's an alternative, it's a Bentley or a Rolls Royce..uh..no difference to me..still too much money. I really love that you recommend good stuff in a range of prices. One video of someone else said drugstore products aren't worth it, only buy pro products..but when I was a kid, Nexxus was a professional line only found in salons, but today it's in drug stores. I'm looking for a hair oil for thin fine hair that is as inexpensive as possible. Also a leave in conditioner. Whatever you want to suggest! :)

      Laurie! Thank you so much for the comment! I'm glad my other video helped you! A great oil to try is the Paul Mitchell skinny serum! Hi! So sorry for the delay! I would say you should try the Redken extreme shampoo & Conditioner for repair. As far as moisturizing shampoo and conditioner try the phrenology hydrate shampoo and conditioner! it amazing!

    hi!! any shampoo, conditioner & leave-in recommendations for virgin, fine, frizzy 2a wavy hair? i have an oily scalp but drier ends. olaplex & pureology hydrate sheer is too heavy for my hair.

    Loving the salon decor, especially that subway tiles on the back way.
